Thank you.. I only ride outside Bangkok,. BKK is too crazy for this big motorcycle. For speed limit, yeah..for car, motorcycle is only 55 mph. This regulation is since 1979. One trip i paid around 2-3 tickets.. LOL// Trick is that the first ticket you get, go for the highest speed, then whatever after if it slower than the first one on that day, they will give you allowance or not even give you extra ticket, lovely country.You're in Bangkok? Maximum speed limit on some motorways is only 120 kph. Fines are 500-1,000 Baht, ($16-33 USD!) more or less random, depending on the area and officer or camera. So basically no one cares if you speed excessively except the other drivers/riders.
Honestly, you may need a different bike to keep up with traffic flow. The only instability on the Super Ten is if you're running bags and top box w/o passenger or gear on the pillion seat. Or have loose steering head bearings. Or have a badly worn/cupped front tire.
