You're in Bangkok? Maximum speed limit on some motorways is only 120 kph. Fines are 500-1,000 Baht, ($16-33 USD!) more or less random, depending on the area and officer or camera. So basically no one cares if you speed excessively except the other drivers/riders.
Honestly, you may need a different bike to keep up with traffic flow. The only instability on the Super Ten is if you're running bags and top box w/o passenger or gear on the pillion seat. Or have loose steering head bearings. Or have a badly worn/cupped front tire.
Thank you.. I only ride outside Bangkok,. BKK is too crazy for this big motorcycle. For speed limit, yeah..for car, motorcycle is only 55 mph. This regulation is since 1979. One trip i paid around 2-3 tickets.. LOL// Trick is that the first ticket you get, go for the highest speed, then whatever after if it slower than the first one on that day, they will give you allowance or not even give you extra ticket, lovely country.

BTW, my model is nonES 2019; do i need to adjust anything on preload and rebound Front and rear ?. I'm 200lbs with gear would be 210-220lbs. Mostly ride alone with 2 side pannier fully loaded possibly 40lbs in total. Any 101 set up guide for newbies? or the best adjustment for high speed ride.

Thank you

I've done high 120s on the GPS on a loooong straight (Nevada?) with full luggage years ago and it was solid as a rock.
The Gen1 bikes had a speedo error of 8% so the indicated was in the high 130s when she was pretty well topped out. Either of my FJRs would've blown by this.

As for adjustments, there are a number of threads about how to adjust the suspension, starting with the sag. Let's keep that conversation in one of those threads. Thanks

At those speeds any bike is twitchy....
I had always thought that was going to be the case. But, my first foray into stupid speed land was on my ol' FJ. I remember that it was actually hard to change direction quickly over triple didgits; I later learned about gyroscopic procession. The SECA's front end would get super light at a mere 100mph; it became rock steady to 130 after I put a frame mounted FJ 600 fairing on it. And, the FJR is just a dream at illegal speeds. It's heavy slow speed handling turns into near perfect.

I haven't. But, I haven't had any luggage attached or had a passenger at those speeds. I also run 90/10 tires. I've had mine to 138mph, and accelerating....it was smooth/stable enough that I didn't realize that I had attained that speed. That, and the fact that I never anticipated the bike being able to reach such speeds. Tires and weight are going to determine your speed & stability. (don't worry about leading me into temptation, I can find it all by myself.)
You trying to catch that bullet you just shot ? :)

I did a circuit-based skills day on my S10 (not a track day). No issues with front end stability at all, the only thing I felt was the rear wanting to step out on corners at significantly higher speeds than would be safe in any other environment. Typical dual-use tyres are not designed for very high speed, and the shoulder is considerably higher than on the sort of tyres generally fitted to sports bikes (I was no slower tho!). Anyone concerned about issues at over 120mph may have the wrong bike!

I live on the East Coast in Western NY. Too many police here. Unlike when I lived in the Rocky Mountain states or WA State.

So no high speeds here, but minus bags I don’t see why the S10 couldn’t go 120+. I’ve easily done that on an Interceptor and much higher on a Busa. That thing was death or incarceration just waiting to happen but a wonderful 2 season bike.

I’m 50 now. I’ve worked too much trauma work, so I tend to side in caution now. I’ve only crashed one bike, but I would have lost a foot if it wasn’t for serious Kevlar boots. That was a Yamaha V-Star 1100. I still hate cruisers because of it. On any other bike I could have done evasive maneuvers but not with a cruiser with floor boards.

When i bought the bike she was on street tires and i gave her a good blast once. I hit 215km/h (premium 98oct) and she had some left, not much. That is something like 133MPH according to google.
Front unstable because of OEM panniers mounted and screen up a bit. Now with the E-07+ 190km/h is pretty scary, wobbeling and other nasty stuff.

No wobbles or other stablity here. Rode it like I stole it on a long haul in Germany.
Sucks up fuel at those speeds (130 mph on SatNav) but rides like on rails!
I am not a regular speedmonster, but now and then it can do no harm.
Normally I go along with traffic. Dutch speeding fines drain your wallet like h*ll!!!

As soon as I got the bike after first servicelast year I reached 220 km/h
It's about 137 mph
Probably not the real speed but good enough for making me grinning inside my helmet...

Wow quite a few riders claiming there Tenere’s have done over 130 mph ! I really don’t think that’s possible.
In my opinion A little over 120 is about it, in decent conditions it can handle that speed fully loaded just fine.
i've seen 128 indicated. it was at 8000+ feet above sea level, so the engine was definitely not making its rated hp.

I have had this bike at sea level and it feels like a rocket ship. I could believe it would do a real 130+

Honestly if well north of 100 is what you want to do, the FJR is a better machine, but the super T is rock solid.

Wow ... never really thought of my S10 doing such speeds ... just never think of it in such terms, impressive.
Did take my brain out of my lid once at around 5am one morning in mid-Spain and took my ZZR14 to 172 on the dash and then backed off ... I wasn't really riding it as I was just gripping on, slowed down and 100 felt like I was doing 20!!!! ... never again

I found mine a little unstable at 125mph, next time I rode it i checked the preload and it was on 2 helmets and luggage ( I have the ES ) from last time I was loaded up. I think may be people like quicker steering so may ride with more preload but there is a down side.

I’ve got the ES as well and wasn’t prepared either. When adjusting suspension right, taking of the panniers and screen on the lowest position we should be able to squeeze an extra 10 or 15 km out I guess
