Wow nice. Who took the leap of faith and let you do it. Is the ecu pretty much the same?

Nope. The throttle maps are different. The engine braking maps are different. The fueling is different. Timing is very similar.

The hardware is different also requiring different connectors.

I took the leap of faith.

I also see KCW;'s point of view. The bike certainly has been awakened and now it feels like a 1200. The "T" mode is sedate but I had Tony program it like the current "S" mode only with the first three gears unlocked. The new "S" mode is really something. 70 MPH roll ons to pass happen much quicker. Downshift blips seem to require less throttle input. I didn't get a ton of time on it and the red worldcrosser decal kit look great on a 2014 ES...

You came to Az and didn't even call? Valley's are getting a bit warm thus why I'm back up in Flagstaff for at least a few months. Though, I left the Tenere in Phx. Still need to pull the ECU and get it to you.... ::026::

I really think I'm going to have to make a "US Tour" one of these days!

The funniest part? I was in Phx riding with a guy who's bike I flashed! I had to go to Yuma for work this week, so I stopped in Phx on the way for the weekend. He hooked me up with a place to stay and even loaned me a bike to ride around all weekend!

I may be interested in this flash, I bought a bike that already was flashed from ECU I think and I was less than impressed, then I saw they did an update so I called them to see if I could get it reflashed. They said yea for 150.00 since I was not the original owner. Well needless to say that didn't make me happy since the first flash IMHO sucked and now to fix it they want more money I think not, so if your still doing this this winter when I put it away I will get ahold of you because it sounds like at least you ask what someone wants. Cheers

I'm still doing flashes NOW. I make no promises going forward. Turnaround time is ~5 days TOTAL using USPS.

Just a short FYI update. Now that I have a few thou mi with the "ac flash" (since March) hind site is 20/20. I have the flash with linier power in T mode and increased throttle response (80% twist to 100% throttle) along with reduced engine braking in S mode. I find I am driving in S mode 90% of the time mainly due to the reduced engine braking. I find the on off throttle a little too harsh in the T mode for around town and slow driving. If it still bothers me in back roads and trails (prefering to be in T mode) I may get it re flashed only to reduce braking in T mode. Don't get me wrong I'm not complaining it was money well spent. Just wanted to give a heads up for those having questions and more info for ac.

As always, if you want a "touch-up", shoot me a PM.

I'm not sure if T "Light" was available when you had your flash done, but it seems a lot of guys really like having a distinctly more relaxed throttle map available to complement the raunchiness of S Enhanced.

ATTENTION:

I will be on a motorcycle trip to Nova Scotia July 17-27. I will NOT be flashing during this period. Please plan any shipments accordingly.
