Ever given any thought to a retarded-timing flash for the clutch switch map? Seems like a good option for people who are planning extended trips through areas with low-grade fuel.

I've thought about it. Without a dyno, knock sensor and samples of the low-grade fuel it would merely be poking in the dark. I've ready a lot of RTW threads. I don't really recall anyone who had a real problem with poor fuel?

I live in the middle of nowhere...towards the end of the postal route. We don't get mail delivery until almost 4pm usually.

Don't worry, as long as it comes today it will go back out Monday and you will get emailed tracking information.

Hey AVC. Decided I'd like a reflash after reading all these posts. However, my plan was to get a new 2014 S10, so will hold off till then, whenever that might be. The new riding season is upon us already, hence don't want to be without my trusty steed during our short riding season. Have you had a chance to checkout flashing the new 2014s yet? Thanks.

No 2014 has been hacked yet. Still needing a volunteer.

Unlike RC, i'm keeping my 2011.. and will be flashing it via...you.
that said, I just got my ecu back from Nick. thanks to all the border BS, USPS 'misplacing' the ecu for over a week, it's finally back after a long 3 week hiatus.
The FZ is transformed, so I have no doubt your flash will do some small wonders for the ST.

That said, the FZ thorttle was god awful compared to the ST. It needed it in a bad way.

just to be on the safe side, and avoid any close calls/personal heart attacks, i'll be sending you my ecu in the dead of winter.

I've ridden an FZ...if you thought the FZ was "god awful compared to the ST" you have no idea how much potential is locked away in that Tenere!

I don't doubt you one bit AC. But after the dismal turn around from Canada post/usps i'll hold off till the winter.
It's riding season now, and I can't be stuck with a non runner for 2 weeks

I've done a few Canadian ECUs at this point. Customs is a killer. I can't say I blame ya, just that I wish you would have shipped them both together!

loose two ecu's in one go? I had a mild heart attack when they lost the first one.

It's back now and I can breathe. I'll ride out the season on the old ecu, and go from there.

Hey AC,

What's your schedule look like next week? Supposed to be cold and rainy here so I might as well send my ECU your way. Thinking the enhanced "T" light, and the enhanced "S" will be my drug of choice.

Eric,

Get me the ECU Wed at the latest. I'm heading to the Romney meet and departing Thursday.

AC,
I going to try to look you up in Romney. Wanna talk to you about your wizardry.

I'll be in the KY contingent. Look for my screen name on my top box.

For the Canadians who are curious:

Turnaround time for British Columbia was 10 days.

Not too bad. 1 of those was "mine". 3 of them belonged to Canada Customs.

Considering US is generally 5-7 this really isn't too bad.

Another Happy customer, service was excellent. Enjoying the improvements, went with T lite and S enhanced and SS with clutch switch. SS is good fun. ::013::
Thanks

As I stated in the first post, my intention is not to compete with Flash Tune. I use their software and hardware, which I supplied my ECU to help develop. They have released a flash option officially on their website. They have also raised the pricing on their flashes from $100 to $200.

As of RIGHT NOW new flashing pricing:

USA: $225
Canada: $250

Both include return shipping via USPS Priority insured.

Any ECU already en route will be honored at the old price.
