What do we now think of the bike

I've owned my 2012 for 7 years , not one issue. So what is a CCT? I have 5 bikes, the 10 is my favorite.

    Winter storage

I have lived in Colorado for 20 years. All my bikes have never been winterized. I double the recommended STabil, rode whenever roads are not slick. If bad roads I start them for 30 minutes every couple weeks, on the warmest day available. No battery chargers, and no heated garage...

my wife, the big blue beast, and I returned yesterday from a 4000 mi trip to BC, from Colorado. Fantastic roads, scenery, and 15 days of perfect weather. Averaged 375 mi on riding days. Mitas E-07 now got 7,500 mi, got a 1000 left. Love these skins, but have never road in heavy rain...

Where did you ride your tenere today?

Well, can't say it was today, cuz it was minus 4 degrees here in Salida, Co. But last weekend I had a sweet ride to Ridgeway, Co where I camped out at the Hot Springs at 20 degress. Then I set out for Owl Creek Pass. But 15 miles up I found snow pack. I know on the ice I will not be able...

Searching the country for hot springs on a Super Tenere

Thank you , a sweet and short RR. Loved that sunset pic and the time lapse. I and wife spent a night at Crane Hot Springs, great spot, remote, SE of Burns. Crane is on the map. Sorry you had to encounter that "alien of a human, or some such sub species."

The Mitas E-07 tire thread merge-fest

My turn; Just went from a worn out K-60 to the new Mitas 07 with the center strip (rib). I think it's a great tire. Running 24psi front and 26 rear, 2-up on 4 different dirt passes=Marshall, Waunita, Monarck, and Black Sage; they grip! Not one unstable moment. And my wife DOES let me know...

MotoPumps New Mini Pro Inflator Now Available!

Thank you Gentleman. I'll try the 10 amp replacement fuse. If it blows the fuse using that, then I'll know I need to go straight to the battery. Almost as easy as a light switch.

MotoPumps New Mini Pro Inflator Now Available!

Will that cig lighter connection work in the Tenere socket without drawing too much current. I think I remember our plug is fused to a 5 amp and the pump is 6 amp. I know nothing about that evil electricity, a light switch is pretty cool though. :D

What you did to your Tenere today??!!

Nothing today, because it's snowing and my garage is coolldd!! But New years eve, the sweet wife and I rode the Blue Beast from 5200 feet in Lafayette, Co up to Estes Park at 7522'. At 42degrees and nothing heated, we didn't stay long. On the way home I tested the TC on a steep dirt road...

We were planning a fall foliage ride the first weeks of October in the Deals Gap area. A rally of Big T's just before would be like icing on the cake. What-ever you planning dudes decide, I' m sure it will be great.

how many of you boys in Texas rode to work today?

slightly geographically north---------------- I bet none of us Colorado boys rode to work today. It was -10 at 7:30 and the roads iced up real good. But the T Beast in the garage looked like a hungry lion ready to pounce on an innocent little Impala. " Settle down big kitty -- your day will...

    Snowing …….

Greetings Mr. Rem. We feel your pain. I have an idea that may help. There is a place not far from you, called Adventure Rider. In that fine land there is a spot called Ride Report. It's an amazing territory where you can ride in any sunny country your cold little hands care to twist the...

    mount that beast

thanks for the additional good comments. Yes, I also moved my top box back 2 inches. Helps. We have also tried her getting on first on the front seat , then sliding back. If the sidestand was an inch longer it would help to center and stabilize Mr. T and make that method easier. Sometimes I...

The Tenere made me do it - WR250R

AVC My header and pipe were installed at same time, so I can't answer your question. But most people recommend the pair. As for the 12 countershaft, many have gone that way and did not wear out their chain guide. But without constant attention, the chain will eat through the guide and...
