Thanks for the heads up Paul. We are all set.

For those watching at home, that order came in during the transition from the NY International Motorcycle Show to home and I buried it deep in PayPal. :'(

I left work early to get it squared away and shipped to Paul. USPS said it should make it by Tuesday with no problem. We shall see.

Sorry about that... ::010::

Hey, no problem Rob. Stuff happens.

It's good to hear that Paypal action is such that things can get "deeply buried". Good on ya! ::008::

Will that cig lighter connection work in the Tenere socket without drawing too much current. I think I remember our plug is fused to a 5 amp and the pump is 6 amp. I know nothing about that evil electricity, a light switch is pretty cool though. :D

I think the silly cig outlet on the Tenere (and FJR) are fused at 3amps. I have replaced both after looking at the wiring and determining that it would support at least 20 amps. I used a 15 amp fuse on both outlets. I have been using the FJR like that since 2008, and the Super Ten for two years with no ill effects.

The MotoPump Mini Pro Inflator also includes a "battery tender tail" which is ring terminals to SAE plug to be installed permanently, as well as battery clips... Basically you should be able to get power from just about any 12v vehicle on the planet.

Thanks Rob. I changed the stock 12V Outlet to a 10 amp fuse then recently read the wiring probably not support a larger fuse. Good to know a tested opinion. For the compressor I prefer to use the SAE connector that I installed last year. Mostly use the 12V Outlet for charging a phone, laptop, and a Brunton multiple USB outlet charger.

Thank you Gentleman. I'll try the 10 amp replacement fuse. If it blows the fuse using that, then I'll know I need to go straight to the battery. Almost as easy as a light switch.
