You'll never want another tire after the E-07, it's truely that good. I just removed a set that lasted over 11k miles and the front would probably last another 2-3k if I wanted it to. It's great on all surfaces. Dry or wet pavment, sand, mud, gravel, you name it, it eats it up.

We ride a lot of deep, soft sand here in Southeast NC. You definitely want it off. As much as I ride in it, I'm still terrible when it gets really deep. Maybe BaldKnob will chime in, he makes riding deep sand look easy.

I really hope there is someone attending that knows the area and is willing to lead dirt rides. I have a Butler map inbound and will look it over well before we arrive, but local experience sure would be great. For those planning to attend, who is looking for dirt? I hope Baldknob and I aren't...

Jaxon hit it on the head about using a bag liner. I have one made of CoolMax fabric. I have a Big Agnes Fish Hawk down bag. I believe it is rated to 30*. Using these two items together covers 99% of my sleeping needs. The liner works great by itself in the summer. The bag works great by itself...
