    Erradic Oil Level

    You'll drive yourself crazy checking oil levels. When you change it, just put in recommended amount with or without a new filter and forget about it till your next oil change.

    Lent my S10 to my Irish brother in law who for the first time rode on gravel roads here. Loved it. He has a new GSA in Ireland so knew the basics.

    Yea. Don't bother with red line stuff. The S10 is a torque monster not a zinger.

    The Girly is a boat anchor off road compared to an S10. Light years apart. I;ve owned both. The Triumph terrified me on gravel. The S10 is a stable bullet.

    Don't waste your money on a Gen 1 when the Gen 2s are so much better. I've owned both and ride aggressively. Big differences, all better on the Gen2s. Too many differences to list.

    The beauty is the fact that it is a TWIN not a SINGLE. Once you ride a twin its hard to go back to a single except for serious trail work.

    cam chain noise when starting?

    Sounds like the Gen 1 Cam Chain rattle. You will eventually have to change the CCT as it gets worse.

    If you ride half ass aggressive, you will need an adjustment. If you're a bird watcher probably not.
