I dropped my bike in Monument Valley on a long deep sand downhill section. The bike slid a bit on the Givi Bars and the paint on the bars was scuffed a little, but that was about it. No bend no nothing.
Nice setup.
This is what I went with.
- HB Skid Plate
- Givi Crash Bars
- Touratech Screen Adjuster, Bar Risers, and other bits and pieces
- Twisted Thottle GPS Mount
- Traxx Side and Top Cases with SW-Motech Mounts
- Yamaha Fog Lights
- Heidenau Tires
Heat is not an issue on my S10 (I'm 6.3). I just came back from Death Valley where it was 124°F. The fan was on often. I had a test ride on a Tiger 800 once and could feel the heat right away, but not on the S10.
A while ago someone asked for pictures of the S10 and >Cinnamon pass.
Well, here the are.
I just had the bike for 2 days.
ABS and TCS (setting 2) were perfect for this kind of riding.
