Good report that the average rider can appreciate, I do. Your standing position looks comfortable. What tires are you going to use?
I would like to go Heidenau K60 tires (rear) TKC 80 Front. The K60 is good for the highway and has better grip than my Tourances. We do alot of highway out here so I would like a smoother ride. I had Big Blocks on my v-strom and they cause a lot of fibes on the road. Stuck great in the dirt though.tomatocity said:Good report that the average rider can appreciate, I do. Here is quick one from my Roam:Tremor38 said:Nice vid!
So what I'm wondering is when somebody's gonna pull out their newly-acquired $89.00 Countour Roam HD and let us check that out. I received mine today, but can't ride until April. Guess I'll play around with the software and get used to the settings in the mean time. :-\
Very nice video. The GoPro catches a lot of wind on the helmet at speed, pretty tiring on the neck, your camera looks more streamlined.simmons1 said:
I have to admit I have the opposite reaction to these cameras. I've been using the last generation of POV camera and it looked like this:Blue_eyes said:What annoys me when watching these vids, is that nothing is in clear and sharp focus. Since the focus is from close to infinity nothing is crisp ever... Maybe good enough for the purpose, but still, I hope this will be improved in future models.
I didn't really notice it on the helmet at all. I need to spend some time learning to edit and such but I don't have a real fast computer.Tiger_one said:Very nice video. The GoPro catches a lot of wind on the helmet at speed, pretty tiring on the neck, your camera looks more streamlined.

A great vendor on here sells the brake and clutch lines to use with the two inch risers. I have them a they work great.s-flow said:I now have the Rox Anti-vibration risers (2") on, I got these for the vibration dampening and it seems to work for my
particular vibration issue (buzz between 4000-5000 rpm), the bars are now smooth at that range but then there was
an appearence of lesser vibrations at ~3500 rpm instead. Those were subtle though and I will live with it for sure as the frequency is lower!
I bought the risers from https://twowheeltrekkers.co.uk/ and the shipping was fast and trouble-free to Sweden.
The cables (clutch and brake) are tight and it only works (bearly) with the risers tilted max forward, puts the bars a bit too far away for me
so Ill get those replaced next monday to longer ones.
The risers seems to be a great product though, nice looks and functionality!
Some poor pics..
