The Character of the Super Tenere

With only 7500 miles on mine and no really long, challenging trips I've yet to bond to the ST's character. On the GS it was the ride up to Prudhoe Bay where I bonded with the bike. Not sure where this type of bonding will occur on the ST. Will probably take it west toward the end of June to run...

There's a big difference between a soar ass and monkey butt. A soar ass is, well, soar for various reasons. Could be a bad seat or simply just a long day in the saddle. There's only one cause of monkey butt, though... It's a combination of not wiping your ass well enough to remove all of the...

What you did to your Tenere today??!!

I installed Hyper-Lites u32 kit this morning and configure it to blink for 5 seconds before going solid. Mounted them just above the brake lights. They won't fix stupid, but they are an attention getter, for sure.

.....so the owners manual sez Hi-Test gas all the time .........

i've run octanes 85, 87 89 and 93 and haven't noticed a difference in performance, mileage or otherwise, but then i'm not tuned into or as sensitive as some other folks. generally, i use the highest octane available, but i'll use whatever's available and not worry about it.

How would have to be the best panniers?

I would make them just like Happy Trail panniers - http://happy-trail.com - so I just buy them from them. :) The things I dig about the HT panniers... * Top-loading * Waterproof * Lockable * Sturdy * Easy to Install * Multi-point Mounting System * Excellent Customer Service

    Seat Suggestions and Reviews?

don't sweat it. i don't think there's anyone who "kinda" likes a corbin. so you're either going to love it or hate it. my history with corbin is short. they're hard. if you like a hard seat, you did the right thing. :) i have a demanding ass and went with a day-long just like my other bikes. my...
