Hey. I thought those new Oxford Adventure grips were supposed to be longer not shorter. The standard ones are already too short. ::001::
The grips are about 2mm shorter than the ones on the bike. They are longer than any of the other Oxford products. Is that what you were asking?

Tramped through the snow to the garage in -20c and fired up my ST. The good news is it started first time. The bad news is; unfortunately it's not spring here yet.

Looks like a happy pup that returned home dirty.

I now think the grey has grown to be my favorite.

So.....today was the big farkle day .. .. well sort of ... cold, windy and my bike is covered but outside. Best I could manage is to wrap on a set of grip buddies. For the record, installation is a snap. The instructions are in color and of good quality and the wrap-on process was a snap even in 35 degree temps. The company included a hand written request to mention or recommend them on the Yamaha Super Tenere forum. I actually think this is a very nice touch and after simply sitting on the bike after installation and grabbing the grips I think it was a good call to do these. I'll ride and report on these as soon as I can.

Got my Muffin Top Panniers mounted up last night, and noticed that the SW-Motech racks still have the front splay that was discussed early on. I will be emailing Twisted Throttle to see what they have to correct it, its off about an inch or so at the front...

Once I get the pictures ready, I'll post them up...
Obvious question is 'do you know the muffin man?'

Green with envy. What was the occasion? Or did you just "head out"?

I freed her from the batt tender and took about five laps around the garage at work today. The S10 has been stored there all winter. Can't wait until the weather improves.

Went down to the hill country and stayed in Kerrville. Rode the "Three Sisters" and several dirt roads. If you get out that way Co. rd. 315 is a must.

Did a few things over the weekend.

Installed an altrider rack and givi case combo to complement the jesses

Cleaned up and lubed the throttle system. Not impressed with the condition of this at just 10 months old.

Found this when started on removing my air box. A combo of small seeds and dog food.

Figured IDE just pop the air box off all together for a look. Got some wiring to run and the whole power commander setup to install next weekend.
