where did you TAKE your Tenere today?

Sadly, I took my Tenere to its new owner today. Came away with a stack of cash and a headful of ideas, as to the kind bike i'm going to build with it. Tastes change and, after hitting the big 60, there is one item on the bucket list just has to be ticked off. Thanks for all the help, advice and...

    Found myself a little strumpet.

Well, three months later and a good few hundred quid lighter in the wallet, she's almost ready to go back on the road. ;D

    ACD Skidplate welding

In comparison to the welds on my ACD plate, these look poor and very much half-finished. Maybe you have what we Brits refer to as a "Friday afternoon" skid plate (rushed to finish in order to get off home early). I'll second the idea of using studs to mount the plate at the front too. It makes...

    Found myself a little strumpet.

Given that for many folk, including yours truly, 2016 been a bit of a troubling year, I needed something to make the immediate future feel a little brighter. I have always wanted to have a second bike and something that I can fix using spanners rather than a laptop. Having had some heart...

the most beautyful S10 i have ever seen

That skid plate is an early ACD item. Good solid plate, albeit rather hefty. My youngest asked who the baby car seat was for, when I took mine out of its box. :D

    Running lights

I bought a pair of 780 lumen lamps for my S10 from this chap, about four years ago ( http://myworld.ebay.co.uk/2allbuyer/) . They've proven themselves to be robust, well made and very reliable. They're also more than bright enough to use as running lights.

A new arrival in the shed

Prior to my S10, I had a four year stint with a 05 Tiger 955i and before that, a nine year affair with a '98 Thunderbird Sport. The Tiger got me into the ADV bike scene but my TBS was the best fun to ride out over the back roads of the Peak District. I've hankered after another 900 triple for...

What you did to your Tenere today??!!

Thanks for taking the time to show me this Eric. I think that this colour combo looks really good. It's firmly cemented the idea of going for red, when powder coating my Altriders. ::008::

What you did to your Tenere today??!!

Yep........that's what I was thinking. I think i'll go and get them powder coated but i'm unsure as to whether to go back to black (sorry Amy), or go nuts and do them in the same red as the speed block graphics on the side panels! :)

What you did to your Tenere today??!!

Had to lay the bike up for a bit, as the radiator started leaking ........again (after getting it repaired twice!). I noticed that the Altrider bars were getting rather tatty, as the paint had started to flake off in several places. As they were off, I decided to strip the old paint off and...
