I have just purchased my first super tenere And am wondering what are the best type of running lights to have fitted ?

Personally, I have the Cyclops LED bulbs in the OEM light sockets and a Rigid bar beneath the headlight with a relay to connect to the high beam.

I also have the Cyclops in the stock headlight housing, that same rigid lightbar (60931?), and a set of Rigid Dually Hyperspots with yellow covers. I run the spots with covers pretty much all the time. The light bar is triggered with the high beams. I have a separate switch for the spots. I think the yellow covers really help me out especially during the day. Those Cyclops headlights are pretty much as bright as the spots with no covers and regular halogen bulbs in the headlights.

I bought a pair of 780 lumen lamps for my S10 from this chap, about four years ago ( http://myworld.ebay.co.uk/2allbuyer/) . They've proven themselves to be robust, well made and very reliable. They're also more than bright enough to use as running lights.

Easy Does It
I have Cyclops LED headlights and added 10w Superbrightlite LED aux lites on the crashbar for conspicuity (I aimed the aux lites low so as not to blind oncoming traffic).
