That does or did belong to Jaime, he's a member on here from Spain, but was just given a Ducati Enduro to try and break for 2-3 months....

Good luck Maru. At least here in the US finding Touratech stuff for the XT1200Z is a problem. As far as the decals go, Moto Ausio used to have an entire kit, but I could not find it. Maybe they discontinued it.

Jaumev sold that bike and built up a 660 Tenere. You can easily find him on the list of Inmates over at ADVRider.com if you want details.

I like the dual exhausts but the stickers are way overdone for my tastes. I like a cleaner look personally.

The exhausts were sort of a one-off. They were trying to develop something to sell, but I don't think more than a couple of buyers stepped up.

They still sell them, but it's a direct order from Spain kind of thing. Shipping sucks. I approached them about importing to the US, but they wanted a very large buy in order. Most of their stuff is dirt bike oriented, so I didn't think I could sell the other part of their market, or afford the large buy in.

The most beautiful ones I've seen are brand new ones before any add ons. I suppose add ons make the bike better in function, but not in beauty. Jamies motorcycle works better than the original one on a dealer floor, no doubt, but more beautiful? Not.

The skid plate on that bike looks like a piece from a Star Wars ship ;)

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and all that! But I'm also willing to bet 99% of you don't ride like he does or put you machine through the same as he does, it's built with a purpose in mind, and so it works for him.

Just bought a 2016 ES. Black, I bought it for the bike, the drive shaft and reliability and not for the style. At the base, it is a beautiful bike but dawn, the look of this black bike is boring as hell. I particularly hate that gap between the tank and side panel where you can see zip and wires. Also, the black edge trim around the tank, Last time I saw that was on my 1988 DR-Big suzuki. Maybe they had some overstock in the back-store to go troughs. Saw some graphic kit but not inspiring and I am not hot to have 20 yamaha logo around the bike.

I'll take that thread as an opportunity to call all Photoshop wiz..... show us your talent! and maybe you can use the Scorpion EXO-AT950 Neocon yellow as an inspiration....just came to my mind... thinking like that... don't know why

The Tenere isn't a good looking bike....rather ugly in my opinion. It's cool, though. I rode a Versys for years and actually loved the looks of that motorcycle because it was so odd looking.

Love my Ténéré, best bike I have ever owned but your right about being ugly. I find all Adventure bikes ugly.

I've wanted a TENERE for years; couldn't justify it until recently. At no time did I ever covet the bike for it's beauty. At first glance I recognized the capabilities and versatility of the design. The few add-ons that it now has, were to improve the function, not the form. Not the best at any one thing, but does every thing well.
