Just spoke to Yamaha Europe headoffice here in The Netherlands.

The worldcrosser specific accessories (carbon covers etc.) will not become available as orderable parts from Yamaha.
They will only be orderable as replacement parts (eg. after a crash/accident) for/by a Worldcrosser bike. The framenumber of a worldcrosser bike needs to be provided in order to be able to order replacement parts.

This is the same as for the Explorer edition bike that I own. That bike too has some exclusive accessories (seats) that are only available for the Explorer Edition.

:'(
It seems as though that is not necessarily true......

That is indeed weird. I immediately called Yamaha Europe again, and they were as amazed as I was.

This information on the website is not compliant to the information/guidelines they were provided, so they will verify internally and will call me back to let me know what their final policy is.

Fingers crossed and thanks for researching! I'll let you know what the outcome is when I hear back from them! ::008::

And they show the black side and top cases...
I noticed the black cases the other week on the Yamabits web site when I ordered my LED blinkers. They do look nice.

I'm glad you guys are keeping an eye open, those black cases are sharp.

The more I think about it the more the whole kit sounds interesting, if it's not insanely priced.

Fresh news!! I friend of mine took a ride with me today..

Do you recognize the bike? :)

.

At first it was just an EU spec blue... And later, piece by piece...

The World Crosser was completed.

It's a kit, and it will be aviable at 30% higher price(piece by piece) later on this spring.

Just received a call back from Yamaha Europe. Yamaha Europe has decided that for Europe they (for the time being) will not sell the Worldcrosser kit / individual items without the bike....

That may change over time, but for now they decided to only sell it with the bike. ::009::

Remember, this is for Europe, it may be different in other parts of the world.

AW: Worldcrosser Fender/Fork Guards

That is what my dealer also told me, he can order the kit only with a bike. If i wouldnt have bought the kit he would have ordered it together with my bike and put it on his demo unit.
In the german forum some have reported that some dealers sell the kit separately, i guess they ordered it with a bike from customers that didnt want it.
