our kids think we are spies, my wifeis a tech geek and knows stuff. All of the kids devices are cloned so we know, I’ve been known to knock on a door and talk to a boy that....well needed talking to. Once my oldest said, “dad mom is spying on me” I let her know that’s our job:D
I have the same with my youngest, she pushes everything to the line, Dad say I’m paying for my raisin.

just to stay on topic, I hope that vaccine works, I want to get to the new normal

I always get a chuckle when people talk about "youth today" because Hitler and numerous Biblical versus went on and on about the younger generation. Heck, Robert Baden Powell made such comments when starting the Boy Scouts. The Greatest Generation of WW2 vets were the slackers of the 30s and Millenials (et al) were dirt till Afghanistan and the other wars of the last 30 years.

My dr for 35 years said he would run to the front of the line. That’s good enough me. If you don’t want to take it. You could be contributing too. I know a 24 yro fit female that is sick as hell from it now. She got it from her 2 anti vaccine, no precaution, baby sitters. Her little kids are quarantined now.

Well if you’re referring to the fact that we don’t have the right to carry a machine gun in the street I suppose your right. But you have the right to refuse medical treatment. Question is why would you?

I know of health care works who are not taking this vaccine and for good reasons that will not be accepted here. I‘m following their lead, they know what’s going on and many of them are the first for new meds and procedures but this has given them great concern. With so much controversy even whith experts in the medical field I find it amazing how may are listening to politicIan’s and runing the game they want you too.

I guess you are in the US? Attitudes in the UK do seem to be different with most people trusting our scientific community. The only place you can find anti vax view points are from the same people who deny climate change and think Trump is OK. If healthcare professionals are found to be spreading fake news about the vaccine they should be disciplined. There is no evidence that the vaccine is unsafe any more than there is evidence of large scale voter fraud in Georgia or any where else. So why would anyone risk their lives and the lives of their loved ones by believing such contrived rubbish in the face of such over whelming evidence to the contrary? But I guess if the only place you get your news is from ultra right wing hate mongers on social media it’s bound to radicalise you eventually..

ill go ahead and give you more reason to dismiss anything I say as I am a Trump supporter, but the health care friends I have are very left wing democrats. Your ideaology I agree with, people who do wrong should have to give an account but that really doesn’t happen in any country. I am not against the vaccine, but I do agree it Looks like the health care workers are the test. I hope it works and goes well. The people I know are waiting on the third revision of the the vaccine, I’m sure that is based on the rush of other medications they have seen that needed revisions before it was “safe”. I’m fairly ignorant of the medical system and the development of drugs so I rely on friends who are not. Some who have built a life around it and believe it’s best to wait. These are also the ones who know my health conditions best and want what is good for me and others.

By the time it is available to the general public around here there will probably be hundreds of million doses already given. I would think any adverse reactions will have shown up by then.

According to an article I read, Japan has one of the highest anti-vaccine rates, of previous vaccines. I find that interesting, with as disciplined the society is. Not saying good or bad, not passing judgement, just was unexpected. This was only one article, and not sure of the validity of it. Maybe you could comment on it.
