Still happy with it?
.....spot review after about 2000 miles running - I am delighted with the Delkevic still. I settled to run with the insert in place - ( it is a bit too obnoxious when riding through small villages with the insert out - but does sound booming amazing!) With the standard exhaust the sound from the riders seat is a bit mechanical - but with the boost the Delkvic makes, this is masked and the pleasant exhaust note is the main soundtrack. No issue on the motorway with or with our earplugs. I read a few had issues with melted buts and bob - but no problems here at all - it came with a dog leg bracket that positions the outlet between the pannier rail and the indicator.

Well i just ordered a Two Brothers S1R slip on for my bike. Hope i won't regret it.
The Two Brothers came and i installed, tested and took it off.
The general aesthetic was not to my liking, great sound at lower rpms but overly loud at throttle for me.
Ordered an Akrapovic instead, should see it in a week.

I had the Two Brothers exhaust on my V-Strom and I really liked it. The drone at 120 km per hour and above was a problem. However, I kept the exhaust because I liked it so much. My S 10 came with an Akropovic which I did not like at all. It was very quiet, I could hear the entire valve train clanking. I found a great deal on a Delkevic, and it's awesome. Does not have as great of a drone as the Two Brothers.

I've angled my Delkevic as much as possible and it's still heating up the deflector and left turn signal.

I was looking at the Delkevic and was liking it except i was concern about what some said on fender and turn signal damage from the heat.
I'm in the Okanagan(BC) and during the summer our average temp is around 35 and will hit 40, was thinking this might amplify the melting issue so started looking at other options instead.
I find it hard to find something with a note i like through youtube video's, i liked the two brother till on the throttle for long periods, it just became too much even with ear plugs for me.
In town it had a cool tune to it i though.

In have a full Arrow system and its pretty good, barks a little and has a nice pop and burble on over run ... don't think the S10's truly sound deep and rumbly with any system and found thgat my old Varadero with Black Widow's sounded wonderful and the Africa Twin has a very nice thump tone.

I have a Delkevic stubby and I absolutely melted my rear fender because I didn't pay attention to the orientation of the exhaust. Since then, and since kicking it out a little, I've had no issues. I also removed my rear reflector because I don't REALLY need it since my bags sit in front of it and they have reflective tape all over them, so that never had the chance to melt on me. I love the exhaust note it has, especially in the woods.

Interesting. I too have a 14” Delkevic and no melting issues at all. Didn’t have to fiddle with its orientation or anything. It is important to use the little hanger bracket they supply. This lowers the exhaust opening below the turn signal and as long as the end is oriented straight and not inward there should be no issue with the fender, reflector or plastic license plate frame either.

Yea, I used their hardware too. It still needs to be turned outward and it's real easy to miss that step.

Mine is oriented straight. I didn't want to angle it outward at the pannier when it's installed. I've always run it with the baffle installed if that makes a difference?
