I have the GPR Furore Nero silencer on my 2013 S10 it looks good has a nice deep note with the baffle in and was 7lbs lighter than the OEM part and the price was very reasonable ::008::

I have a Yoshi RS-4 coming tomorrow. Been thinking about this decision for like two years after watching videos and reviews over and over and over again. Read all the reviews and talked to others who have seen power increases at the rear wheel from 3 to 8hp and weight savings up to 7 lbs. I'm really just wanting a growl from the bike when getting on it. After owning the bike for a few years I'm looking to change it a bit. I'll try to get a video up like some of the others here of the sound before and after.

You are going to love it, mine took minutes to fit and sounds fantastic, not too loud but loud enough.

I have a Mivv Storm on my 2013 S10.
It's a more traditional looking pipe. Alloy oval with a lipped angled tail pipe out the back.
I fitted it as instructed but on my first ride it melted the number plate bracket. All sorted with another spacer.
As for sound I like it. A little deeper than standard with baffles in and a lot deeper and bit louder without baffles. I had several positive comments about a how great it sounded from behind when I powered out of corners.
Plus it was one of cheaper pipes available for the S10.

Old thread, sorry. Just installed the Delkevic 14' "Stubby" exhaust on my '15 last night. I was careful to position it as low as possible based on reading this and other threads.. I also angled the outlet, slightly outward to mimic the OEM exhaust outlet. I made a 46-mile freeway run into work today at speeds between 65 & 80+ MPH. The inside of the OEM bag, left turn signal and other bits around the exhaust outlet were barely warm when I stopped, immediately doffed my glove, and felt around the area. No more heat apparent than with the OEM exhaust. I'm happy with that.

Reading the enclosed literature Delkevic indicates occasional re-packing is necessary. Has anyone actually had to do this? I wonder if it could be re-packed with stainless wool like StainTune uses?

Barrett here as well. Run mine with the tea strainer baffle in,seems to run better than no baffle at all.

I also have a two brothers slip on. It has been on there for almost 60,000 miles. I really like it. As far as it being louder than others I don't know. I don't think I have ever seen another Super Tenere out while I was on my bike. Just don't see them around here. I have not heard others with aftermarket pipes but I can't imagine this slip on being louder. I can ride 80 mph all day long on the interstate and it sounds great to me. It has a nice low rumble and really doesn't make any noise till you get up in the rpm range. I would definitely get another one if I have to replace this one. Oh by the way it is holding up to my abuse better than any pipe I have ever used as well. That is a plus for me. I do have the aluminum can and not the carbon one.

I bought a low mileage acropovic from a riding friend. Increased mileage by 4 at the low end. I have seen 5-6 on a couple of tanks. That’s all around riding. The sound is soothing at all rpm. They are worth what they charge for them.

I bought my lightly used 2013 S10 and it came with a 2 Brothers and I have the stock in the basement. The 2 Brothers was put on with one of Anthony’s ECU flashes.

Previously I had never considered 2 Brothers. I saw them in similar category like D&D. I was always a Yoshimura guy but loved Akrapovic, though I wouldn’t buy just the slip on, I wanted the full system so Yoshimura was what I always chose.

I likened both Yoshimura and Akrapovic as throaty, sexy harmonics. So I was skeptical when I brought home the S10 with the 2 Brothers.

I have to say I have been pleasantly surprised. I wouldn’t call it overly loud, which I think straight pipes on a cruiser are, but the 2 Brothers slip on accentuates the gruntiness at low speeds without being obnoxious. At higher freeway speeds it starts singing albeit in a bass rather than the tenor of Yoshimura.

If it were my dollars buying a new one, I would still probably opt for Yoshimura, though I don’t want to be lumped in with the noisier sport bikes we have running at all hours of the night, revving high, just to be hooligans. So perhaps the 2 Brothers works for me. But at about the same price as Yoshimura, I might look into the Delvic (sorry about spelling this wrong, but it’s late and I can’t scroll back on n my phone,) but I might look for a Walker though I haven’t seen any listed for S10s. I just know they have a good relationship with Yamaha.

I haven’t heard an Arrow either. Make your decision based on your preferences and budget. I wouldn’t pay over $900 for an Akrapovic slip-on. That’s just me. I would buy sub $500 and spend the other $400 on gear or accessories that can go a long way, like tires, modified/rebuilt rear shock, but most likely a lighter weight but armored jacket for hotter days.

You won’t go wrong with any of the above stated choices. I don’t find the 2 Brothers overly loud, just accentuating the grunting nature of the parallel twin.

Best of luck deciding.

The Yosh RS-4 on my 13 sounds and looks great but at times, the decel burble can be slightly annoying. I tried an Akra on my 14. Aside from it being slightly fat, that can also looked good but I couldn't hear much of a difference between it and the stock setup. To me, full Arrow seems like the ultimate exhaust route.

Still enjoying that Akra can, thank you, and love the tone it provides. Matched with the Arrow headers, there is a significant boost in power and only a small increase in noise. More Ducati-like than Massey-Ferguson is how I would describe it.

Oh well. I just went over and over it in my head, through youtube, and various posts for the last couple weeks and came out with a Delkovic 14" stubby stainless for mine. I liked the sound it made overall, and if you remove the insert (but add a screw), it won't do the high rev whistle, but still be nice and throaty. I will likely keep the insert in it, since I only want it to snarl at high revs.

Oh I forgot, this was last week installed. I love the burbling it makes on decel. This is with the insert still in it and I think it's about perfect.
