Hey Guys

So Now that I've got my S10 Gen 2, I would like to improve the sound of the bike. This is something I Do on all my motorcycles, so I am looking forward to doing it on my new bike! What I am looking for is a pipe that has a very bassy, commanding sound... I don't like the "Tinny" loud pipes that are just loud for the sake of it. I'm looking for a pipe that has a nice rumble, big growl... I've tried watching the videos on youtube and unless everyones microphone sucks, I think the Akro or the Arrow pipes sound the best. I would like in the future to upgrade the headers as well to get more performance but for now, I am looking mainly at just the slipon. Can anyone provide some insight as to what they have, or what they have heard while in S10 gatherings?

Thanks!!

I put one on my Gen2 and I love it, nice burble on tick over but you can ride for long periods without getting a headache! Something I couldn't do with the MTC cans on my Strom!

I bought my '15 S10 from a bloke that put on a Laser Slip on. It also comes with a dB killer insert.
It is shiny, tough, clears the tail light, grumbles and burbles like an angry Ducati/KTM, howls in the twisties, has a nice deep burble, yet does not drone you out on the freeway.
It is inconspicuous, as the Akra is also bling when on a bike!

Akra's the way to go, top quality nice power gains and no messing around with repacking.

I ended up going with the Arrow exhaust. I like the sound and looks of it. It seems to be a high quality piece made in Italy. I may consider the arrow headers in the future as well. Should have it in a few weeks!

All Arrow. (my Texas Tenere Technician just did it. Didn't ask me)
I describe it as giving my bike a serious attitude. And I admit, I find it makes me grin every time I start it.

I never was impressed with the akra from all the YouTube videos. Then I found one S10 with an akra. The guy started it and I became poorer after that. Nice lines also that matched the bike. I can hear a light rumble when cruising versus no exhaust sound with the stockie. I read that if the cat is removed the growl will be enhanced.

According to my riding partners, my 14" (stubby) Delkevic sounds awesome. I wear custom fitted ear plugs so I just hear a little growl. I will say it weighs 11 pounds less than the stock anchor and it was very inexpensive.

I've got the Two-Brothers slip on. Supposedly one of the loudest on the market. Sounds awesome, and I get nothing but compliments from everyone.
Did you use a Fuel Programmer or throw the slip on and ride?

I have the arrow full system and it sounds nasty. I put it all on at once so I don't know how just the slip on sounds. It's a nice pipe though.
