First real ride of the season, with my 26-yo son who rides an XJ6. Not a long ride, just a quickie out to Hellesøy north-west of Bergen, Norway. One of my great-grandfathers came from just south of here. And way back in another time, I served with the sheriff's office out here in the islands, as a temp. deputy. In the photo, outside of the farthest skerries. is the Norwegian Sea. And beyond that, going due west, you need to "hit" the Shetland Isles unless you're headed for Greenland or New Foundland.

Thanks! Yeah not sure on the stop sign other than it being a one lane bridge. Interesting fact on that bridge. We had to pay 50 cents to cross. There was an actual person in the toll booth. Definitely an cool experience though.

Finally! Spring is here (well, on some days anyway). Got the S10 out yesterday with it's new sneakers and snow in the background. Rode to work this morning. The tall screen and winglets are really nice in this weather.

Yeah, looked like a liter bike, but only had a single front disc. I was thinking mid-eighties.
Mt Lemmon via Redington Road.
Lunch: Corn bread, Chili, and mountain berry peach pie ala mode with whipped cream. Had planned to take the control road down the north side, but looked like too much snow to suit me.

2Hour COVID-ride. Both got it, both just slightly cold. Together in the great wide open, contaminating nobody, having fun with the S10. Perfect 19*C weather!
