Got to have the wheelies. Even Gold Wings will wheelie. BMW K1600GTL's with the TC off are a blast to wheelie. Greg the Pole mentioned the 900RR, he ain't kiddin, one of the all time best. Yamaha R1 one of my favorites. BUT....I have 2 best, 1 single cylinder, one multicylinder, XT500 and FZ750 (although the FZ is far from stock). The XT, I had to find a way to drain the oil back into the oil tank from the airbox because after a couple miles it would fill the airbox and kill the engine. Good for the mosquito population in the area, not so good for long wheelies.
Is that why I had to drain oil out of my air box? I was really wondering what that was all about! Thanks. Solved a mystery! ::015::

I've tried a few times, but I'm not much of a wheelie expert on street bikes. I'm not in my 20's anymore doing wheelies on the CR500 at the coast, with a paddle tire on. That was easy. No, now I prefer to bring the front end up about six inches max. Basically when I'm pulling hard through the gears from a stop sign and the TC light is flickering at me as I shift.

The balance point is really really high on this bike (since there's so much weight high and forward) so you're best off doing short power wheelies. That being said, I did manage to get to the balance point low in first gear and manage to ride it all the way through second.. Definitely missing the midrange hit my Two Brothers slip on gave me. The stock muffler tames this bike alot..
