correct its thickness much more on the on 1100 and 1000 is unknown atm.Glad you got it sorted.
I assume you mean 1100lb spring wouldn't fit, but a 900lb would?
I was using a 914 lb/inch (160N) and spring fitment was no issue. Upped to a 950lb/inch(170N) and it is getting close. Darn wire gets pretty thick when you get up near 1000lb/inch.
it is much thicker then oem but not nearly as thick as 1100 hundo. Is my imagination, or does the new (red) spring look "thicker"?
Let us know how you get on with them. OEM can?Arrived today.
Will need to remove the skid-plate to install. Hopefully will fit with the T-Rex setup.

Funny, I'm thinking of a respring of my ES in the near future (I'm heavier than the stock supports easily), but I'm going with a 600lb spring and a 10mm spacer (Karl's) - is there any reason you went with such a stiff spring (900lbs)?I liked the shops attitude but it concerned me when they lied and who knows how many other people they had done that to. So on a side note 1.1kg spring will not fit and I couldn't find anything about a 1kg but a .900 will at least in eibach.
OK, will-do.Let us know how you get on with them. OEM can?
ES and Non-es bikes have a different linkage and thus use/need different rate springs.Funny, I'm thinking of a respring of my ES in the near future (I'm heavier than the stock supports easily), but I'm going with a 600lb spring and a 10mm spacer (Karl's) - is there any reason you went with such a stiff spring (900lbs)?
That makes a bunch of sense. ES can get away with lighter spring loads.ES and Non-es bikes have a different linkage and thus use/need different rate springs.
Non-es bikes stock spring rate is approx 675lb/inch.
Cool, I've been pondering this setup as well and also have the t-rex plate so am interested in your experience!OK, will-do.
I will hopefully be installing them soon.
Yes, for now i have the OEM muffler.
That could be a heck of a rabbit hole. Power band(s) and gearing could get waaaay complicated. Especially with a shaft drive. Sprockets are easy/cheap to change. I don't think I've even seen ring & pinion sets for bikes. Manufactures of course try to please everybody, so they compromise the gearing. Better low gearing will sacrifice your highway traveling. And vice versa.. . . . I also realize most folks like 6 speeds but I would be happier with just a plain old 5 speed if it was geared better for the low speed stuff.
