I did the same thing. Looked like that was the way it should go on, but doesn't.no bending or adjustment required, as I initially put it on backwards.
I would recommend as well!

I love the seat. I rode from Seattle to Redding on the stock seat to get it installed and I was fidgeting the whole time. After installed, I rode 6 hours to the coast and it was night and day better; I didn't once think about my butt. My pillion could only do 90 minutes on the stock back seat, now she can do 4-6 hours in one go. Shelling out the money hurt a little up front, but I now have zero regrets. How do you like the Daylong seats ? Is it really the best aftermarket out there? I keep thinking about them but that's a lot of dough. I'm currently on the stocker, but begin to feel it big time around the 250 mile mark.... I believe a Russel with a backrest could be the perfect ticket!
Are you sure about that? I am not even aware of clutch fluid change intervals on (manual) cars, and wouldn't your clutch get a little spongy if the fluid breaks down and absorbs water?Clutch fluid absorbs the heat from the motor every time you ride, as brake fluid rarely gets hot under normal use.
Heat is what breaks it down.
Positive. It's only resistance, how would it feel spongy? Are you sure about that? I am not even aware of clutch fluid change intervals on (manual) cars, and wouldn't your clutch get a little spongy if the fluid breaks down and absorbs water?

Makes sense, probably "circulates" more. Every time you need to change it you need to open a new bottle, so the clutch sets the schedule, then I go ahead and do the brakes with the leftovers. There’s a lot more fluid displacement when you use the clutch. With brakes there’s hardly any displacement, mostly you just pressurize it. Also, think how much more you use the clutch compared to the brakes. The clutch fluid gets worked!

Anakee Adventures were mounted yesterday and I put over 100 miles on the clock riding both on the highway and backroad curves. Not quite "What you did to your Tenere today".
More like "What you will do to your Tenere in two days".
Hope to have this set of new Anakee Adventures mounted on Saturday:

I am by no means an experienced tire critic. When I picked up my used ‘13 S10 last June it was still wearing its original Metzeler Tourance EXPs with about 8K miles on them, the rear was quite squared off and the front was moderately worn. The previous owner bought this ‘13 S10 as a left over in late ‘15 and did not put on the road till Spring ‘16.Looks great
But surprised that they howl
