Regarding the throttle tamer, has anyone installed one with the factory heated grips? I'm concerned about damaging the heating element. Any tips?worncog said:Installed a Throttle Tamer last night on my 14 non-ES and lubed the cables while I was in there. Much smoother transition from zero throttle on the way to work today. Short ride, but will test further this weekend.
Be concerned with the very nice Leftside Storm Ind bag. A friend (Long Island NY) had his Tenere knocked over in a gas station (Garberville CA). I found him along a road in the Lost Coast with a damaged radiator. When his Tenere was knocked over the bag was pushed through the engine guard and pressed the fan against the radiator. The radiator was damaged and would not hold water. He eventually was towed to Eureka where the radiator and other parts were replaced. Three days and $900ish dollars later he was good to complete his Cross America trip.hawk281 said:fabricated a simple set of hwy pegs, just have to paint them now. total cost $24.00ish ::021::

Beware of what you put in the bags.
If you're about 5'8" you're not gonna hate it. I got the 21" and love it.FrontRangeRider said:Added a Madstad bracket and their 20" Sport SD windshield. Will be conducting road testing tomorrow.
