Adjusted the shifter to accommodate the new Sidi Canyon Gor-tex boots.

I changed the oil and filter (Mobil 1 Racing 4T as always and a Yamaha filter), put a pair of LED marker light bulbs (Sylvania 194) in the headlamp housing, then went for a ride in the rain!

Not all done today, but last bits finished today...

Eastern Beaver fitted:

Aux plug and USB (unswitched) under seat together with Autocom/Amplirider:

Other bits include DIY side panel to stop spray, brake reservoir guard, fork guards, side stand enlarger, Zumo hardwire, LED wiring and Ardcase panniers:

I've drawn up a rack which I'm having laser cut for an upcoming 3 week camping trip.

No doubt it is one of the nicest racks for the S10....unless you have factory bags, want to keep the rear grab handles and run the rack in the low position.

Keeping it simple, cool ::008:: Just get a few dome head allen bolts to replace the countersunk ones

In the US those are referred as 'button head'. You could also look at 'pan head' bolts, but those are typically slot or phillips, rather than allen, (and have a flatter profile). Button head allen bolts are easy to find at a good hardware store.

I like it Al. Had/Have a AltRider Rack on my 2012 and 2015 ES. Like you I prefer to carry bags inline and the low position but... I wanted to carry an air pump and a few tools all the time. So I use the Rack in the high position and a Storm Industries bag to carry those items. I keep the passenger seat on for level support and I remove (my preference) the Grip Rails because they get in the way for strapping the bag to the Tenere.

I prefer the looks and function of your layout and might have to rethink mine.

Spent the weekend de-farkling the old girl. Lots of goodies will be up for sale soon I hope.

I finally got my OEM side cases home, installed the locks and got them mounted! Some of you may have seen my other post where the dealer I purchased the bike from had lost the lock cores that came with it. It took them approx. 3 weeks to get me the replacement lock cores (not keyed to my ignition, but new keys), so I couldn't mount my bags for nearly a month. Unhappy would be an understatement!
I celebrated by personalizing my bags. Go Rogue Squadron! 8)

Not today, but last Thur/Fri I added the following:
Mitas E-07 Dakar (front/rear)
Cyclops LED headlight kit
PDM60
Skene controller
8" LED light bar
Stebel air horn
Vizi-tec Supabrake II

Couldn't post in a timely fashion due to going on a ~450 mile weekend getaway. ::001::

Got around to adjusting my shifter and brake pedal - moved them down. Much more comfortable. Wish the brake pedal would go down just a bit further but its fine where it is for now. I see what everyone was posting about in some of the the tech threads about the brake peedal adjustment bolt (don't know what else to call it) being too long and why people have cut the ends off.

Adjusted rear brake pedal switch afterward, and had to fuss with it on a few test rides because my cruise control wouldn't work. Got it figured out pretty quickly thanks to the material on this forum - and an online FJR1300 manual which explained how to adjust the brake switch.

Talking about the shifter, I think I'm gonna install a secondary shifter on my hyway pegs I added. To lazy to move my foot back to stock pegs! :D

Anybody put on a aftermarket shifter and want to get rid of the stock set-up? ::013::

Hey Ace50! can you share the picture of your highway pegs? I want to do that to my ST in the near future. And my wife can use my pegs a couple of minutes to stretch her legs.

thanks!
