Rode 14 from Dayton WY to Greybull WY through the Bighorn National Forest...
Its a bit out of the way but very worthwhile, thoroughly enjoyable.

The twisties out of Dayton led up into the clouds then blam, nothing but sunshine...
Across the high mountain plateau then plunges into a canyon run down to the badlands where the dinosaurs used to play.....

Well, technically it was yesterday. Left work I'm the middle of the day to ride. The weather was too perfect!

Great roads in Northern California. Also some nice brewery's if that's interesting to ya. Was just out there in May.

Installed RideonADV 2" longer lines to "compliment" the 2" Rox Risers I installed. Nice pieces. With the flare wrench it was "cake" to do. Now I have peace-of-mind knowing my lines are the correct length reducing the chances of stretching or binding….

If I could stay away longer I would, but the Alberta cold snap is continuing its path of destruction south, rode a minute or so through falling snow in Yellowstone today as I hit the top of Dunraven Pass...
Rode Chief Joseph Scenic Byway today and saw nothing... Ultra low level clouds, at times I was uncertain of which direction I was going, other than forward...
But I wouldn't change a thing, I came to ride and am already planning a return.....

Spent waaaay too much money....... Brakes all around, oil and filter, drive shaft too, installed city tank bag with quick release, mounted ram mounts for go pro, waiting for tank rubber panels, sent ecu to AR, just received a set of EO 7's , got a shoei neotec and installed a cardo G9x bluetooth. I am set up for harleys but this is a totally new game.

Ordered Altrider tip over bars and bash plate and Jesse bags. Got the VIN from the dealer and added it to my insurance policy. Now I just need to go and get it on Saturday.

I woke this to find half an inch of snow covering my Tenere... No pictures as I may decide to deny this later... The snow let up around 09:00 and I got on the interstate at 09:30... It was a little chilly but hey at 80+ miles an hour on a mission to get further west away from the Arctic Cold, you do what needs to be done... Right now I am in Kalispell MT, which I highly recommend, where the people are nice and friendly and the sun is shining brightly and warm...
As a side note, one of the best things about the Super Tenere is BOTH how fast AND how slow one can ride it.....

Kalispell is exactly what you stated. We stayed there last summer for a couple of days on a whirl wind road trip of NP in MT and Canada. We found Kalispell a nice place and a good access place for Glacier NP. The people were great and it had a nice small town feel but big enough to have amenities and attractions. Tooo cold for a Cali boy in winter but I could live there 6 months a year for sure.

As to what I did on my Ten today...walked past it a lot....busy with wedding plans :'(

If you are still in Kalispell {or for anyone heading to Butte/Kalispell and a few other MT cities} there is a GREAT pizza chain up in that region called The MacKenzie River Pizza Co. I can not recommend it more. I have had Pizza all over LA, Orange, San Diego, Riverside and San Bernardino counties. Everywhere people recommend I try. I have eaten Pizza all over NYC and Brooklyn, and all over the PNW....MacKenzie is as good as any I have had. Nice sudds selections also ::012::

Kalispell. Yes awesome riding all around there especially dirt roads between Kalispell and Eureka west of #93. If you prefer paved, #37 along Lake Koocanusa down to Libby and back up the other side and over to Yaak. There are 1000s of miles of nice stuff in there and only 4 hours from home. Must get down there one more time this year. We like to do day rides from the Ksanka Motel in Eureka. That way we can honk without luggage.

Last night tried to put 1" risers on my 2014. The handle bar mounts changed between 2010-13 and 2014. So just changed the angle raising the grips a little.

Thai Food Carrier

So, my Sena rang. My wife asked if I could pick up Thai food on the way home from my ride. No problem said I. A quick stop at K-Mart... 4.99 and a few zip ties from the tool kit... and voila! Plastic Thai food carrier. I ask you: who needs hard luggage anyway.
