Conti Trail Attack (2)... I have had at least a couple sets on a DL1000 and at least three sets of Trail Attack's on my KLR. Currently have a set of Attack 2's on the parked KLR. The roundest tire I have ever ridden. Excellent in wet conditions. Two fronts to one rear is the norm.

Not a thing. Just looked at it and wished I was on a long trip starting tomorrow!

Plasti-dipped the backside of my Givi Airflow lower portion.

I mostly did it so I could run it without the upper and use it standalone as a "sport" screen:

I'll probably wind up selling the V Stream and Calsci Sport screens I have as this Givi now does a decent job filling both roles.

avc3180... I Like what you did with the plasti dip, nice.

What did you do for prep?

Paul
Paul,

Windex. LOL

I did put a bit of masking tape around the edge on the front of the screen. I really wanted the screen to be shiny from the front. I got pretty much exactly the result I was hoping for.

Front Kenda Big Block came in today. Rear comes in on Thursday. Picked up a Harbor Freight changer and mounted it to base. Now I have to make the rim blocks to add to the HF changer so it will actually hold rims. It's great to have helpful threads on the site with tips on doing this.

Picked up one of these yesterday when I stopped by my local Cycle Gear to use up the rest of a gift card:

http://www.cyclegear.com/CycleGear/Accessories/Add-ons/Other-Add-ons/brand/SPEEDMETAL/LED-License-Plate-Frame/p/44045_59408

I got it all wired up and working on the bike, pics to follow when I get them transferred from my phone...
As promised, here are the pics. The frame is packaged with a battery, so you can see how the lights work:

Running:

Brake:

Turn Lights:

First order of business was to modify the plate, so the wiring can be routed:

I also had to modify my Iron Butt plate backer and the metal hanger my Die Hard sticker is on (sorry, no pics of that part). I elected to remove the rear fender assembly to make installation and wiring easier. I drilled a hole under the reflector:

I got it all mounted up:

and working:

Finally got out on my first ride of the season, first on the S10 that I picked up late last fall. Very happy how the bike felt, handled high speeds on gravel great!! ::013::

I can see enjoying this bike a lot.
