Unlike my Tenere riding compadres that had the day OFF, I had to work.
But that didn't mean I didn't flog mine into town & back. Picture perfect day.

I also had to work on this beautiful riding day! I also had to take the 4Runner to work this morning :-(

For many that have gone the route of the two inch riser there has been no real issue with the lines. Some have though. The one up/one back riser hasn't had any issues that I recall. My next step is the three inch Rox, I will need the lines for that one.

We had a good ride today. We saw everything from a guy riding a 5 H.P. toilet 3 wheeler to life flight landing about 100 feet from us and the EMT's saving a mans life......we pray and hope it turned out that way. Looked like a heart attack and was transported to our location for life flight pickup.

Put on the Yosh pipe today.... love it. I will say that I think it has some lean spots now though.
How does the pipe sound over stock

Pulled the shagged Kenda Big Block off, (old version), (dam that's a good dirt tire!), after a whopping 2644 miles, it was toast. Not the smoothest highway tire, and vibrates like Oprah's sex toy at 80 mph, but digs like nobodies business in the dirt and rough stuff. Tossed a K60 back on that had 5500 miles on it and a plug. Should be good for another 7k, but I'll pull it sooner and swap a new K60 in June before the AK trip, just so I don't have to worry about tires.

I liked the Kenda enough that I bought another to wait for a more dirt oriented riding schedule and have a front to match it in the garage. But it's not well suited for the mostly tarmac riding I've been doing lately.

It sounds like "wow". I have not heard a great video yet that gives a good idea of what one would encounter, but I would say that if you are partial to quiet exhaust, just stay stock. If you want to hear the motor like this motor was meant to be heard, put a pipe on it. The yosh is well built, looks great, and has a "rheostat" of volume in your right hand. More throttle, more noise. I was blown away at how good the bike sounds when you wind it out thru the entire rpm range. It kinda sounds like a 1200 parallel twin with a 90 degree crank. Get that, who would have thought.

BTW, I purchased the competition only Yosh, not the Signature series. There is a signature series that meets EPA sound regulations, and then there is the comp pipe. Supposedly, according the the Yosh rep that I talked to, the only difference is that there is a removable baffle in the comp pipe that can't be altered or removed in the Signature series. I can honestly say that if there is a baffle that I can remove, I am in no rush to do so.

Most have been able to install the 2" risers with little to no issues. The 2" are what I ordered.

I decided to order a non EPA approved Yosh slip on to replace my blown out two brothers slip on. Hopefully it will not be any louder!

Also ordered a set of Conti Trail Attack II to replace my Ankee III. They are ok but I had Trail Attacks on my KTM and liked the street handling better. My current front is wearing uneven and is more worn than the rear slightly.

Did get a 50 mile test ride on a new Lamm seat I had purchased over winter, so far so good. I need to get a few long days to give a fair report.

Rain forecast for the day, so it was a good day for some quality time in the garage.

Put on a Fenda Extenda, mounted a DBSP Driveshaft Guard, and put on TKC-80s. Used only tools I carry on the bike with the exception of my balancer and air compressor. Yeah, I could have used the slime pump, but didn't want to wait.

Pulled the wheels.

Spend some quality time with the spoons. Then balanced using my Marc Parnes balance propped across the side cases.

Washed my Darien Jacket and Pants and did a waterproof treat cycle. Need to fix two places where the pad velcro was loose, got that taken care of.

Looks like a nice day tomorrow to get in some TKC-80 testing.

Let us know how the Contis work for you on the S10. One of the members here went through 3 fronts trying to get one that wouldn't head shake the bars out of his hands. It was so bad, Revzilla put a warning on the Conti TA page about it.

I see they have made the Trail Attack "2", hopefully the new design works better.

I don't really put much weight on what other manufacturer's choose as their OEM fitments. Generally that deal has more to do with shared marketing than actual tire performance.

+1. It's all about the $$$.
It's best to pick the tire that suits your need, not the need of others.
