Well the radio said it was 5*F out with a high of 6*F.
So I went for a ride.
Got in just over 100 miles and found some new trails.
This is new to me but the Air temp will not read less than 16*
It just goes to LO

I had never seen this before.

New tires. It only rained while riding to and from the dealer. The other parts of the day has been dry.

Cut a piece of fuel line to fit between the aluminum tool box and the frame. Hopefully will reduce the swaying motion.

Went out and did another 140 miles towards the S10's run in period. Got cold, very wet and a tadge unhappy, then it started to hail.
A lot
Enough to put a couple of inches on the roads so I got to see the traction control in operation and have a laugh spinning up the back end with the TCS off and keep the revs under the run in limit.
Then the rain got through my waterproof layer and I got very unhappy and came home rather than stay out and play a couple more hours and try to crack 200 miles this afternoon. Wet nether regions at a toasty 6'c do put a dampener on things :(

Eemsreno, 64270 miles, good for you and your bike, that's over 100000 km. Funny, some guys I know with sport bikes get all stressed when they reach 10000 km.

Got the Akro/Arrow and PCV/AT last year. Ran that set up hard on the stock tires.

A couple weeks ago I sent my forks to Stoltec. They came back this week. Was told that I had abused them. 8)

Sent my ECU to Jaxon for remapping.

Got it all back this week. Already put tires on it and gonna put the Altrider skid plate and crash bar on this weekend.

I am getting excited.

I rode in the worst rain I have ever ridden in.
Cali has gotten more rain in the last 2 or 3 days than we have in 13 months.
I had to run an errand and my daughter had to leave before I could take her car. Very glad I bought a rain suit last fall. Gaerne Balance oiled boots and a cheapish Bilt full rain suit and I was dry.

Don't know what you were doing last September... I went camping in Mt Laguna. Julian had flash floods. The old firehouse had mud in the back door and out the front door. The streets had to be scraped. The second day in Mt Laguna we had huge thunder storms. Decided to leave a day early and that was a good idea since they had thunder storms and flash floods the next day. That was the last rain I saw until this month. Hopefully the weather will be good by the time you read this.

Changed the engine oil and filter. While I was there I thought I would change the gear lube in the final drive. What a dumb ass move. Temps in the 30's and the gear lube was dribbling out like molasses and that was with amsoil synthetic. Oh well, it's done now.
