Everywhere I looked, they had them listed, but they were out of stock. I've never seen them in stock. And what is "E" spec v. OE? The OE Battle Wing used to be quite a bit cheaper than others too. Now, the Conti Trail Attack is only $30 more, and it's available everywhere.
I haven’t ordered one since last year as I had two new ones in reserve. My next tires will be the Continental Trail Attack 3……have them on my BMW 1250GS and quite pleased withe tires…..great all around tire that appear to last for quite a few miles.

E spec BattleWings are the OEM tires for the S10.

"I" ordered, and paid for, my Conti TA3 in April. The dealership ordered it last week. Told me it was back ordered 'till the 31st. I advised them of three places that had them in stock. Now it's supposed to arrive tomorrow. We'll see.

B day ride and pew. Adjusted the foot controls for big feet. Adjusted the brake sensor. It worked for the first half of the ride to the pew pew place. On the way back the cruise acted up again. I pulled over and adjusted it almost to it's max still no good. 23 ES. There was a recall on the brake switch no? Would that fix the cruise light blinking on the dash and not doing controlling of cruise?

Other then that issue I fu**in love this bike.

Anyone run a stickier battlewing style tire? I don't do much offroad fire roads at most. I mostly use my bike on road and I like to ride hard and corner fast.

I sure recognize some of that scenery! A buddy of mine had a similar cruise failure on his 2015. I think it turned out to be a faulty clutch switch. Your new one should be covered under warranty.

That sounds like the brake switch has gone bad. May be fine when bike sits then act up again after you ride for a while. Simple fix

Just put a set of Michelin Anakee Roads on. I'm a fan of Conti TA3s but decided to try something different just to see. Only a few miles on them so far, seem to ride and handle nicely. Time will tell.

According to Parts Unlimited website Contis are on backorder.

Will let you know more after the weekend. Should be putting about 300-350 miles on them. I have never had Michelins last as long as Contis or Dunlops but they do seem to ride nicer and corner well. I think in general they are not as stiff of a tire. By not lasting long I mean they are good for about 8000 miles. Not bad wear all things considered and some folks get more out of them.

Fitted a new Anakee Adventure to the rear. Also replaced the dead Orange Electronics TP sensor. I had the incorrect 160/60 x 17 tire on the rear as it was all I could find when in dire need for a new one whilst out on the road last summer. It’ll be nice to have the correct size again.

Fresh oil and drive fluid, greased my shifter, new trail max missions, bags packed, tank filled. Leaving the Great Lakes region for Montana tomorrow. Calling for rain all morning but looks hot and dry after that. Two 700+ mile days then a few days in glacier, through the big horn mountains and to Sturgis. Maiden voyage for our new to us machine.

Exactly been working since the last issue. It will act up again. Not rushing.

Yeah, load rating was my first thought too. But when comparing each spec, everything is the same. But different specs looked like they might be for different OE fitment.
Speed rating / sidewalls. Idk much else. I just ordered the oem tires.

7 pairs of socks and only 2 merino wool shirts. Not a fashion show on the road. Lol
All about keeping your feet dry and "some" food in you, stay hydrated, assume everthing will be dumb on/around the road. Don't suck.

Have at it!
