Tried out these grip buddies on a nice 100 mile ride. Definitely an improvement from the slippery heated grips. Remembered how badly the projector aim is affected by bike load. New shock will be needed before any big trips this year.

Mounted a Zumo XT2 to a Toutatech adjustable windscreen bracket. Really nice setup. I am a GPS rookie and was a bit worried about the tech end but I am pleasantly suprised at the Tread App, very easy to use and create routes.

Congrats getting the XT2. I got one recently and find it really easy to use, especially with the Tread app. Route planning is so easy. A friend of mine has the old XT and says Basecamp is 'interesting' to use. The mount is currently fixed left bar on my Gen2 but I found it took my attention away from the road. So now I've ordered a set of Nav Bar Stabilizers from our Canadian friend Ladlesport. https://ladlesportadv.com/products/2014-yamaha-super-tenere-nav-bar-stabilizers

What seat is that?
The seat is the standard seat. I’ve recovered it and put gel in there.
There’s a French company called Top Sellerie that do seat covers, seats, tank covers and bags. You can customise the seat covers to a myriad of colours and fabric types. Heated and gel etc etc.
The quality is EXCELLENT as I’ve used their stuff for years now.
You can have them provide a seat carcass, provide them one from you, or do the covers yourself.

Replaced both my LED headlights. One of the Shengda 360 degrees failed at 49kMi and 45 months. Got a pair of Bullnuxi 360s on Amazon. Very similar. Happy with the performance and value.
There are a bunch of different Bullnuxi 360’s on Amazon, how many lumens are the ones you bought ?

changed oil in my Tenere today.

H7 LED Headlight Bulbs 360 Degree Super Bright 6000K White 25000lm 80W
I like the 360 part but there seems to be lots of bad reviews, the 25,000 lumens rating is that for the 2 bulbs combined which would mean 12,500 lumens per bulb ?
$37 for the pair I just might decide to give them a try
buying 360 LED bulbs gets pretty interesting, eBay actually has some with a 5 year warranty
Edit
well I wound up ordering the eBay kit, 30,000 lumens and 5 year warranty, supposed to arrive by May 1st, total cost $22.04

I replaced the front Anakee Adventure with another one. I got 13,800 miles on the old one but the tread was gone on both sides with a bit of shallow (below the wear bars) tread left in the middle. My bike just turned 99,000 miles.

I replaced the halogen H7 headlights with these Novsight N63 H7 LEDs. Easy swap out - no wiring or cap modifications needed. Went for a ride last night, and I am happy to report that the increase in light is very, very evident. One of the best low-cost (approx. $40) upgrades I've done. I'm super happy with the results.
