In Texas, and likely every other state, your vehicle insurance info is on the computerized license plate (LP) return. And, any kind of weapon permit info is on you computerized drivers license (DL) return. So, as long as you have your DL, and your LP is still attached, they can get all your info in seconds. More and more states are also putting emergency contact info on the DL return.Hmmm, Depending on the jurisdiction you are in. In Ontario, Canada (land of the not so free anymore) you must provide your original drivers license upon demand.
Doesn't work across state lines I guess. I ran into that in AZ back before I went to the one paper route relying on my info on the phone oops no internet. Thankfully the DPS guy let it slideIn Texas, and likely every other state, your vehicle insurance info is on the computerized.....
Should be no problem.Ordered a $40 replacement battery on Amazon. Figure if I get 2 years I am ahead.

Brave man you are!!! I rode my new '18 ES home today in warmer weather up here in Canada, temperatures were about 4 to 5 C. Hmmm. translated that's roughly 38 to 40 F.I drove my 18 ES to the dealer for it's first service. I bought it just before winter set in when I upgraded from a 16 standard. The bike had 640 km on it when I left and 1500 km on it when I got home. I left at 5 am and drove down to be there around 9 am or so. Temps were around 26F going down and 35F coming back home in the afternoon. Total trip was over 500 miles. Thankfully I have a heated jacket liner and gloves. ATV gauntlets on the bars keeps the cold wind off of your hands.

Fork seals. I hate installing fork seals. Not a hard job, but a pain in the butt...View attachment 53868View attachment 53869
Nice work. Are they plastic boxes?Modified my boxes by adding some hinges. I was going to put on some that hinged towards the front, but decided to copy the Happy Trails design.

I feel your pain. I've cleaned mine probably 5 times from leaks in 40000 miles. The first 3 were at low milage until I got shock sox and fork guards. I just put correct springs in mine at 45000 miles. The stock forks work good for me with no revalve.Hope you went SKF for seals. Highly recommended and I feel much more durable.

Can't beleive how much it smooths out gravel roads and those damn expansion lines now.Fork seals. I hate installing fork seals. ?? On a trailer ?? Did it break down? I see your from Idaho so I figure you would ride the bike there. It's only about 1000 miles.Loaded her up for the slab ride to Death Valley. View attachment 53859
If it was just me, I would ride on down. My wife wants to go and camp. Taking the big tent, cots, etc. she doesn’t want to sleep 5 nights on the ground.?? On a trailer ?? Did it break down? I see your from Idaho so I figure you would ride the bike there. It's only about 1000 miles.
