I have been using the M-10 Mirror mount Ram ball mounts for many miles. The left side mount keeps the GPS close to where I can Read and Touch the GPS easily. The right side mount is for the iPhone or SPOT.

I am planning to use the left side mirror mount as well as the accessory bar mount once more of the new ram "torque" mounts come in. They allow you to mount anything round from 3/8" of an inch to 5/8". That should work perfect for the 2014 and later 1/2" accessory bar. I am thinking my smart phone on the mirror mount and either GPS or EZ pass on the accessory bar.

After I get the new Windshield Anti-vibration Bracket Bar... I am going to use the RAM U-bolt 1" Ball mount on the Accessory Bar. Most likely add the SPOT and a second (previous) GPS.

Cool!! Your own one-man keg, and you lock it too ::013::
Better to mount it inside the top box so you can keep it iced down for all day/all night drinking pleasure. Hides it from LEO eyes as well.

Funny thing is I bet 50% or better of cagers probably do think it is a beer keg. Lol

Worked on what?
Well that pic was of the work on the plate and riser blocks for the aux tank. Today I installed the fuel bulkhead fitting in my tank, drilled and mounted the rails for the aux tank, installed an A40 on my front tire by hand (not recommended as your first at-home tire change), made my "winter/rain" hand guards, and did my throttle body sync.

I used that u-bolt and torqued it to whatever the instructions said (maybe 87 inch/pounds? Can't remember) and it put a bit of a crimp in my accessory bar. :-[
So now I call it the accessory "pipe", because it's not really a solid bar, now, is it?
Anyway, keep an eye on it when you tighten the nuts.

Spooned on a set of Anakee 3, Rear Battlewing 502 was squared off below wear markers at 13,500km

Bike was running a bit rough. Pulled out the Harmonizer to sync the throttle bodies, I last synced them at 9500km before I got it serviced for my 2600km ride. I lifted the tank, yep right screw still set at 3/4 out, left screw wtf! 4 threads were showing - sync was way off and needed 6 turns in to be zero'd... wow, did the screw vibrate out? or did the shop service do a sync and set it way off!

Found that the TAB under the front of the tank is turning a light rust colour, decided to break out the Kill-Rust Black Paint and just fix it. Spent then next 45 minutes going over a 1 year old 2015 bike painting rust spots - rhs rear brake tab, lhs subframe edge, windscreen adjustment frame welds for studs and the accessory pipe bleeding rust out of left side, rhs front mount of oem crashbar I scratched large amount of flakey paint off and fixed it!

Yamaha don't know how to paint!

I like to learn my bike. So even if its brand new and has only 1100km on the clock. I took out all the spark plugs along with the air filter box and Ignition coils. Then put it back together with some moly paste on the threads.

I did this just to see how it looks under the tank and now I know what tools I need if I have to do this later on a trip somewhere :).

Having seen some of the issues that people have been having with stuck coils I might do the same.

I should've gotten a better pic, but I just finished installing the Bestem carbon heat shield and Yosh RS4 sig (the wuiet one) can. I think it's a pretty sharp looking combo...definitely better than the atrocity it comes with from the factory.
