What did you do with your throttle cables, re-route them somewhere?
Yep. Just found that their original route got in the way of my view of the instruments, so I routed them to the left side of the retaining loop and loosely zip tied them. They are still in roughly the same place but I may have just moved them out of the way when taking the photo. ::)

Jeez! I've just got a pair of the Hi-Lo, they're crazy bright. Two more AND a light bar! ::26::

Put on about 20 miles offroad on Sunday, a bit muddy. Trying to mount a set of highway pegs to my skid plate, that I can remove at will. 12000+ miles since April last year, loving the bike. ::021::

If you don't mind I'd like to know exactly which rigid industries lights those are ? They sure have lots of lights to choose from. Have you riden at night with them yet ?
I will most likely be putting some extra lights on mine as well, after riding a wing for so long the Tenere headlights are miserable at night. Hate to spend the money but better headlights for night riding sure would be a whole lot safer.

I went with the D2 Hi-Lo Dual Intensity. Easily wired to the bike's hi-lo function. 20% lo, 100% hi.

I like 'em. Their pages say they don't play well with controllers like Skene, that's why I went dual intensity. Mellow says he's using a Skene controller on his. ::010:: It's all an adventure sometimes.

Added some barkbuster storm guards to the bike. I painted the aluminum bars satin black and the plastic guards the color of the tank. Might change the color to the darker oem gray used on the fairings and fender but I'm giving this a chance to see if it grows on me. Opinions?

The fairing is off because the ECU is currently being flashed. I'll give you my perspective on how that works out when I get it back next week.

Gregp,
I like the color on the bark busters. BTW re: the reflash... I had AC do my 2014ES and it is awesome! Man I seriously love the change!
I hope yours turns out as great as mine did!

I'm glad to hear you're loving the flash Brick! I'm pretty excited to see how it works!

Jaxon is doing mine. It's part of a bigger operation where he'll be adding the header and PCV. Plus a couple other things... ;D

Checked the spokes on both bikes. Torque wrench is way more accurate than pinging each spoke with a screwdriver and attempting to discern a difference ....

5mm long allen and 6NM torque are your friends. Ball head helps with access.

Checked and torqued all spokes; bike hit 1200 miles and the dealer did 600mi oil and check. Found 2 very loose on rear, one a little loose on front. All others a were good.
