Coming from a dl650, having the fan come on a few times was a novel experience.
I really really miss having a Givi Airflow screen, About 2 hours into the day I pulled over to use my phone to order one on express delivery!
I was a bit paranoid about new tyres + crap conditions - so I spent most of the day in T mode, I figure there's no point rushing the new-bike experience also.
So far I couldn't be happier, other than wind noise+blast the bike is super comfortable on the road. I need to get a basic luggage capacity for the end of March for my first camping trip up to Scotland.
That's quite a teardown for a 50k check. I hope this isn't what you need to do at 50Kcosmic said:50k km inspection... Getting my Snowflake in shape for the next 50k km.

What you need to do is release the pipes, starting at the bottom of the bike, then follow the lines up and you will see a hold down clip, unclip the lines from that and you are good to go, no need to disconnect from the tank, this will give you enough slack, just be sure that you don't pinch them when you lay the tank back down, or you wont be going far......stomp347 said:Wellllllll, I was planning on changing my air filter last night, but when I pulled it up the tank like my othe Yamaha's it has these 2 hoses holding it back. Before I yank on them, I assume these are just overflow tubes and I don't need to drain all the gas. Correct assumption folks?
