Don't forget if you are doing the throttle body sync to do it with a hot engine.
Wouldn't it get hot enough to boil the water out?Jeremy W said:Today I have mostly been annoyed at poor design - Found that two of the four spark plug coils were badly rusted, a third is so bad it has expanded and will not go back in the hole whilst the fourth is nearly new! Seems the dealer might have known there was an issue 7000 miles and 5 months ago when I bought her with 11000 miles and 4 yrs 6 months old! Of course the warranty was only 3000 miles and 3 months!!
There do not appear to be any drain holes to let moisture out of the plug/coil holes so when it gets in, as its likely to do if she's used all year round in all weathers as I expected to be able to do, corrosion sets in.
Anyone else suffered the trapped moisture and rusting coils problem?
Any solutions know?

Probably due to colder climates in places where they salt the roads.racer1735 said:Does it seem that the 'water in the plug wells/stuck coil' issue is primarily happening to the European bikes? Maybe it has to do with you guys having 'wetter' weather, but I would think the Pacific Northwest of the US would be similar?
Looks good. I'm not a fan of chrome at all, and I saw this topic running on advrider about these exhausts, now I'm curious. If nothing else than the weight savings over the stock can.78YZ said:

With the heat shield in place, the can is covered. Remember, this is the stubby Delkevic.Defekticon said:Looks good. I'm not a fan of chrome at all, and I saw this topic running on advrider about these exhausts, now I'm curious. If nothing else than the weight savings over the stock can.
