I picked up one of these from a neighbor kid when he was selling his "track bike". Works great on sport bikes, but it's too short to reach the tree on the Tenere. Note to self...make an adapter for that, your fork seals are seeping.

You just GOTTA get on something for a quick jaunt!
They rent Harleys near you, surely? And I'm NOT joking.

Or go do test ride on something. I bet 15 minutes on an FJ09 would do you wonders.

I installed a set of Oxford Sport Adventure Heated Grips ( thanks to my wife for surprising me with them a few weeks ago!). Here are a few photos of the controller/bracket as well as the Fuzeblock where it draws its power.

Installed a couple of Christmas presents now that the snow is gone and the temps are rising. GreenLights traffic light trigger and a PIAA Slim-Line sports horn. I won't know how well the traffic light trigger works until I get a couple of rides in but I can vouch for the volume and notably different tone of the PIAA sports horn. Best part of the sports horn install was that it did not require a new wiring harness; the second best part is that it fits without any need to modify or bend the bracket.

The morning started great: TwistedThrottle delivered the Givi PLR367 & Pelican case adapters (I have a couple of iM2400 Storm cases laying around so I figured I'll use them). The rack installed in minutes and looks great. The adapters they shipped, however, are apparently the wrong ones :mad: - which I found only after I drilled it into one of the cases :mad: :mad: :mad:.

Waiting for TwistedThrottle (who were part of the parts selection process) to resolve the matter - have a gig on Thu and need to carry my equipment.

<<edit>> note to self: when unpacking, no matter how excited you are, keep all items in one place. Dumb-ass (me) just found the missing piece that was needed to complete the installation. Thanks TT for being patient with me ;D

Rode a couple hundred miles, including thru Zion NP. Gratuitous scenery shot from Springdale, UT where we had lunch.

I thought it looked like the fake mountains in Cars Land at Disney's California Adventure!

Not fake, though I can understand the guess.

Rode to work. At 3:45 it is 80 degrees (high for the year) so was going for a ride. However the 45 MPH winds caused me to rethink. It will get warm again so just took a slightly longer way home.

Some day I will ::021::
