When I test rode a 2012 a few months ago I really liked the bike except that every time I opened the throttle more than just a bit it felt like I was holding on to a buzz saw...a deal breaker for me.
Do the 2014 changes eliminate this?
Thanx
Even without the 2014 improvements, a 2012 should not have the characteristics of a "buzz saw." Either you are extremely sensitive to vibrations, or there was something wrong with the one you test rode.

Yes. The 14's are extremely smooth. I have yet to read a single report of any vibration concerns on 14's.

There were almost no complaints about vibration when the 2012 models first shipped. Give it time.

Thanx BMAC I may have to revisit.
BTW, Bruce...another fella test rode the same bike I did and was prepared to purchase until he took it out a second time on a really windy day and complained that under load into a strong headwind the vibes were quite bad in the handle bar and he passed also.
He posted here.
Indeed, there might very well been something "off" with the bike.
It was a demo with about 1700 klm on it.
Other than that it was a real nice bike.
