Some pictures off the bike would be great if you dont mind. Now if you are going to sell them still pictures off and on the bike . Will these unmount quickly or pretty much stay on ?Z06 said:I am painting the hitches for my cousin and my Tenere's now. Jaxon bent up some tubes for me and I fabed the rest. Have been towing a Bushtec trailer around with it and working out fine. We are taking a 6 month ride and using the trailers to haul camping gear. Anyway I will get some pictures up this weekend.

I added those to help stabilize the large Pelican side cases that I use. They hit on lower corners of cases.Don in Lodi said:Nice minimalist design. One question; about half way down the the vertical supports, what are those protrusions for?
Pegs do not fold up. Could be done so that they could by mounting u brackets under the pegs but that would require either cutting and rewelding side/center stands or bends in hitch tubes to clear them.imrubicon said:I would have to ask if the Pegs still fold up ?
Also as your trailer is pretty light I am asking how it stops and takes off. I just figure that its not any issue after underway other then maybe keeping RPM a little higher in town. Is the take off ok
I have been hauling a Roll-A-Home around behind a Gl1800 and a Honda ST1300 so heavy bikes heavy 300 LBS trailer trailer. I know the Tenere has the power to pull and feels like the brakes would stop it but the weight ratio is a lot difference in that the Goldwing weighs around 825 and then I load it pulling the trailer , The new Tenere weighs 550 give or take and pulls it is more than half the bikes weight. Just because you can doesnt mean you should always . I dont want that tail wagging the Dog feeling going down the road.Don in Lodi said:My experience has been on a 200# heavier bike with a third less horsepower and torque and a heavier trailer... I'm betting the Tenere pulls great. I'm planning on a single wheel. A standard trailer just won't do what I need any more, not that I wouldn't pull my old one if I needed the kitchen sink for some reason.
Only worry I have with the pegs is if not bending they catch a lot easier on things on other than highway roads even then if you dump it . Hard to ride with no peg on one side (dont ask how I know )Z06 said:Pegs do not fold up. Probably about 175# I have been towing around. Can't tell the trailer is back there.

Understand and agree about weights. I to had a Goldwing and a Roll a home. If you have a 300# roll a home then it is the lightest one ever made. Anyway I am less than 50% of the Tenere weight with the trailer at 250#. Was over 50% on the Goldwing with the roll a home.
Hitch can be removed in 5 minutes for offroad stuff.

Now I could do that to get to most camping spots and then quick disconnect if that could be set up as then it wouldnt be a problem on the trails or in heavy brush. Im going to take this pic's by the guys that I use for trailer fabbing and see what they think they can do . If working maybe they can make ten sets up for good price astehre are a few interested in a hitch

Its not like I have six different trailers to hook up to but I like the idea of the lighter weighted and more off road worthy type trailer and I also might Keep the Roll-A-Home if it pulls and stops ok for slab use.Don in Lodi said:Their proprietary pin and ball hitch? Very reliable, millions of miles pulled out there. Not as versatile, can't just unhitch one trailer and hook up another. I'm wanting a receiver/stinger set up anyway. I could switch between styles with the pull of a pin.

Have you seen Bushtech's new open concept trailer? A few hundred more than the Rallye Wagon's present bid, but an option.
You probably wouldn't have any trouble pulling your R-a-H behind the Tenere. I pulled one behind my FJR1300. If a hitch becomes available for the Tenere, I will get it and either use my Aspen Classic or build yet another Harbor Freight trailer.imrubicon said:Its not like I have six different trailers to hook up to but I like the idea of the lighter weighted and more off road worthy type trailer and I also might Keep the Roll-A-Home if it pulls and stops ok for slab use.
I know the Roll-A-Home is about 325 before I shove all the needed stuff in it . But I sleep better on a C Pap then without also lets face it once I get there do we really haul our tents every whee we go or do most set camp and then go play ?
I like my pop-up tent trailer but not enough to keep it f I cannot tow it wit the Tenere
I should ::021::
