Packing and re-packing.....tossing stuff out ....putting stuff back in and getting things ready for my ETD of 4:30am 10/17 Friday. Going to take my time and spend a few days of camping before I get to the hub ETA 10/19 Sunday. :)

Karson and I are looking forward to to meeting each and everyone of you. This year we have both enjoyed working together on hosting this event. For anyone that has put together an event like this before you know all so well what type of time and effort goes into something like this. Last year was our first year working together on the Ouray,CO rally. I think I can speak for him, that we had a great time hosting the event. We obviously learned several things and hope to implement them here at the AR rally.

This year we have both worked a very hard and invested a ton of time into this event, and everything that goes into it. Many things have changed for Karson and I this year with family and work. His family has added someone special and we have had several losses in mine. Both of our work schedules are very crazy and both are not 9~5. Maybe people just don't know, very few people ever post personal stuff on this forum, we aren't retired, we aren't independently wealthy, and we have many things in our life other than the Tenere. We host this because we love the Tenere and enjoy this forum. Being that we live almost halfway across the country from each other and still talk almost everyday about the Tenere and the Rally has to show how nutty we are about this bike and lifestyle, that is "ADV".

We are both really excited to roll out and get on the road. Gatherering all the 'goodies' has been a beast, and I guess you will see Karson and I up on stage once again this year. Hey Karson, I'm handing you the mic this year. LOL Also, we will have several people 'deep' in the industry that will be attending the rally. When people are out talking in the parking lot, hold out your hand and introduce yourself, you might find yourself talking to someone you find mighty interesting. You never know.

Thanks to everyone who has signed up to attend, again we look forward to meeting you. And THANK YOU Karson for all your continued help and for being such a great friend and buddy, I appreciate it.

We hope everyone has a great time at the rally this year, we WILL ! Be safe out on the road and we will see you in about a week.

I may be able to drop out of society and come for a couple of days, with the intent to sleep in a tent. Any problems with drop-ins not interested in registering for the drawings?

Anyone is welcome to show up and ride with the group, anytime.. If you would like to camp at the HUBB you should probably contact the HUBB for your camp spot, Etc . If you would like to join the group Thursday night for dinner, giveaway and over all good time, this does require a ticket.. Hope to see you at the Rally... ::008::

When I tried to make a reservation for a camp site, The Hubb said they have plenty of spots. No need to reserve one. Just check in when you show up.

But they are all primitive with no water/electricity. My hunch is they will tell us to simply pick a spot on the lawn.

There are no camp spots....it's called a lawn and there is plenty of room for about a hundred tents. You do not need reservations to camp.

I look forward to meeting you guys. I'm not entirely sure when I will be up there. I hope to be there Monday afternoon.

I'm just hoping to be able to get there at this point. My bike is waiting a new brake line...only one available in the US. Metal line that runs from the neck of the frame back to the ABS unit. Don't damage that line, kinda expensive.

Got the room reserved and all the goodies packed, ready to load up and go.

They did the same with me when I was reserving a room. No problem was what Debbie said and no deposit taken. No e- mail confirming a room.
I will have my camping gear with me so no problem for me either way. I will adapt and overcome! ............just strange. :-\
