Hi Mike (Denali),
If you haven't visited the site here:
http://yamahasupertenererally.com/2014/category/routes/ I've laid out as best I could of GPS files, descriptions, etc...
Butler Maps donated a few Ozark maps that I received the other day which cover the twisty portion of your question, but I'm not personally familiar with the forest service roads to confidently give you any pointers. The Butler maps will be available to use, but I ask that they not grow legs during the week so others can reference 'em, too. We'll have a whiteboard up for any volunteers who are local, or familiar with the area, and are willing to lead rides.
I'm a terrible travel guide, but some of those posts on the website above are what's on my agenda in no particular order. I'll be sporting Big Blocks and relying on my Rumbux setup for the type of stuff I'm aiming to do from the website.
Bug Dr. (the other Mike) mentioned earlier on being a ring leader from time to time, as has wfopete, but he hasn't registered yet so I'm not sure if he's a lock for being around on a consistent basis or just stopping by from time to time. There is also a local gentleman with an FJR that plans on hanging out.
I'd maybe utilize the resources I posted to get a game plan for the first day on Monday just in case, but after the Meet and Greet event on Monday night, I all but guarantee you'll find a group of folks with similar riding expectations as yourself.
If you have any other questions feel free to ask!
Reminder to everyone else, registration ends Sunday night if you want a T-shirt. I'll need to submit the final numbers to my t-shirt guy so that they're done in time. Giveaway only registrations are still open for awhile after that, though. ::008::
