Also is someone making sure about the placement of their flag, and no faux pas in the writing?
Good point - Rem, is this something your sister-in-law can check when she does the translation? (I'll finalize the wording today and send to you)

I'm not sure what the concern is about flag placement. Someone will have to tune me up on that one ????

In the USA, there are certain rules to follow on the placement of our flag when flown with other flags. The same is true on stationary, I think.

So not to make them or ourselves look bad or loose face, we should place their flag where it belongs. A call to the consulate may be in order.

Also the text should be worded so as not to offend. To many Japanese, this is a must do..

Yeah, I think the placement issue should be resolved by someone with a professional diplomatic background. I am aware there is an actual display (flying) protocol, but I guess the same could be true for placement on paper, etc.

I'm sure my sister-in-law (Masako) will be able to perform the translation correctly, but it certainly wouldn't hurt to run it past someone else. She is currently in Japan, so I'm sure it will be passed around. However, it would certainly be prudent to have someone else look at it. R

Ok, after a quick search, the flag of Japan should be printed to the far left and the Yamaha symbol should be to the right of the flag.

There you go. A diplomat amongst us already. However, I'm a little concerned as to where my picture is going to go. Please run that past me first. R

Swap the order to workers, staff, and management.

I missed that the first time around. I agree. Good catch. R

OK guys this is going off to Tabasco for printing tomorrow - just posting the final version cos I made a couple of tweaks. Main thing is I moved the Yam logo from beside the Japanese flag - it may not be cool to put the company logo on the same level as the national flag. I re-jigged the text just a bit too.

I have to thank Masako Ricks in Japan for the quick turnaround on the translation - who knows what the Google one really said!

Exceptional job! Thanks for taking this on, you have exceeded my expectations. I think you and tabasco (and maybe others I am not even aware of) deserve a special recognition avatar! Job well done.
