Re: Age group
Just turned 50 8)
Been looking at the ADV market for years, been riding since 1979 (except for that 10 year break), I want 1 bike, not a shed full, so I like the "general purpose" bikes, like they all used to be. They all started getting way too specific over the years and I am glad the marketing departments have discovered a new handle called "Adventure Bike" that allows the marketing departments lots of junkets in many exotic places. (that's the real reason they are pushing this segment ;D) .
Since I spent a lot of time on reliable bikes as a young whipper snapper, I appreciate just how relaxing that can be just to be able to go wherever and not worry. Hence I tend to look at the less "exotic" brands with good dealer networks. Might be boring but I rarely stop at coffee shops in town anyway.
Cheers
