Re: What is your age?

Wow! Looking back at this thread a lot of guys have been replaced with new blood. My blood is still old but I have this link on my desktop that helps me to find it from time to time and post when I can find my keyboard and glasses.

Re: What is your age?

Your age bracket does not go up or down far enough to include me. Talk about age discrimination! I am 75 and began riding 60 years ago. The guys I ride with are 10 to 20 years younger because riders in my age group can't keep up. I have ridden mostly dirt and a lot of Enduro's. When I was 70 I had a job in Nevada for 18 months doing trail inventory for the BLM. 10 of us did 5 million acres in that time frame, 5 to 6 days a week and 8 to 10 hours a day, for me, it was a dream job. Most of the time my riding partner was a 50 year old Senior expert desert racer. Good Times!!!

Re: What is your age?

34...

I also ride and old mans touring bike, A Victory Vision. I started on mopeds at 15, quickly moved to a bike at 16. Took a 12 month sabbatical when I was 27 after moving to Seattle with its terrible traffic. Didn't last long, at 28 I was back in the saddle. Been there ever sense. I put far more miles on my bikes every year than my truck.

38 here. Only been at it for five years, but when home I primarily use the bike for transportation if it's just me(without the wife or 2 year old)which actually has me considering selling one of our two cars. Wish I'd started younger.

59 here and just picked up a Tenere. A few years to go to my free time, but my job is not too tough. Taking 3 (maybe 4 weeks!) of vacation at a time is not frowned upon. A little over 45 years at one job or another, sometimes 2 jobs, my future free time is worth looking forward to!

Reading some of the early replies on here around 2012. How many are still riding?

With small children ages 1-10, when you don’t see them for a while they really change.

With folks 70-80, when you don’t see them for a while they really change.

Getting older sucks.
