Jason from Bazzaz here.

We're looking to bring in one of the new Super Teneres to develop our fuel control, traction control, and quick shift systems on. You get a free Z-Fi system installed on your bike and a custom map, if you let us borrow your bike. We'd prefer to develop on bikes with just slip-on exhausts, no other power mods, like flashed ECU's or anything. If you're interested, email me at jason@bazzaz.net; or check out or web page to see what we're all about bazzaz.net

That would be AWESOME !!!! Ive seen your stuff on other bikes and its IMPRESSIVE !!! I hope its not a new ECM or 'flash' for $600-700-800 like others Bazzaz (ecm) products Ive seen...

Looking forward to what you guys come up with... See if you guys can ring out the (S) mode... This is going to be VERY cool ! PLEASE keep us in the loop if you get a bike and how the development goes. ::008::

Our base fuel controller retails at $379.95 and gets more expensive if you want to have quick shift and traction control as well. And I'm thinking the power reduction thing this bike has in the first 3 gears is going to be something we can solve with one of our z-bombs, and those are only $65.95. Our z-bombs do different things on different bikes, but they're purpose is to eliminate performance retardants put in place by the manufacturer either for safety or emissions.

Can you use the z bomb in conjunction with another fuel system like PCV?

Well the PCV needs to know what gear the bike is in, since it has the map by gear function, so it depends on how the PCV hooks up to the bike. Our z-bomb will most likely plug inline between the GPS and the ECU to modify the gear signal, the PCV will need to read the unmodified gear signal.

Any chance you want to put a slip-on on your bike? We have a dealer account, so we can get you a bit of a discount on a two-bros system.

I'm still on the fence regarding aftermarket exhaust...It's on my to do list but $$$ is a little tight right now with three kids and the holidays coming up.
Most members on here seem to say that the Two Bros are loud and lean towards the Akra or the Leo Vince. I would like performance increase as long as it's not much louder than stock.

Well we probably won't be able to bring your bike in until mid January or later; so you've got a little time to figure the exhaust thing out. I totally understand money being tight this time of year. I'll see if we can't get a deal with Leo or Akra, for you, b/c we really prefer to to build our maps on bikes with slip-ons.

La-Motor.....

We are a dealer for all the exhaust.... If you can commit to Bazzaz and we work it all out, im willing to do a one time special price on the part to get your bike to them..... I would like to see a Bazzaz specific ECM for the Tenere....

Hey Jaxon,
Thanks for the offer...I just recently purchased an Altrider rear luggage rack from you and you were a pleasure to do business with. Personally, I'm leaning towards the Akra pipe. I will get in touch with both you and Jason at Bazzaz and see if we can't make something happen.
Thanks again

With generous help from Tabasco, it looks like we may be able to make it happen ::008::

The S10 ECU doesn't use a gear position sensor. Yamaha uses wheel speed via the ABS sensors and engine RPM to calculate what gear you're in. Thats why the only current solution to the power restriction is an ECU flash or different ECU.

We're just going to have to wait till we get the bike in to see what's possible. I'm certainly excited to tackle this project, and I appreciate the info that I'm getting on this site, it'll be very helpful come development time.
