Ordered mine today. This will be a first for me with this type of product. Hope I like the "feel". The added protection to the tank is good for sure.

::012::You will really like them! I've had mine for a couple of years, mounted to an aftermarket tank on my DR650 Suzuki, gives you the feel of the bike and gives better control especially when breaking.

The New Design will be available FOREVER!!! ::012:: no need to worry about availability. We should have this New Design on our website as the Standard Design come February... Including the Center Tank Pro..
I need protection on the sides of the tank from the zippers on my Aerostich Roadcrafter and these seem to fit the bill.

What style is on the black bike in your avatar? High fusion or snake skin?

What style seems to be the favorite of those ordering the product?

Thanks.

The Style you see in my Avatar is the Snake Skin Material with the old design. The Snake Skin Materials is the most popular material ordered to date. Here is a link to see both designs we have available in each material.

I received mine on Wednesday. Good outfit ... they shipped them to be before I even paid for them. I'll have to rush right out and put them on ... maybe in May, when I get my bike back and it's not FREAKIN' minus 35 outside. I'm getting tired of this crap. I'm about to get cranky. Nobody wants that. ::007:: R

Thanks, that link was really useful because I haven't compared the two types before side by side. I now know that the original ones I bought in the UK look way better than the new design which was requested by some guys on here. Each to their own I say but I'm happy with what I got. :D Mine are in the C3 material. It's a bit less aggressive to your leathers / textiles and I don't think the high grip properties of snakeskin are necessary on the S10, more so on a sports bike.

I just got my snakeskins last week after putting it off for so long. I got the larger design. Pretty nice product.

Oh, I got a set of snakeskins for my FZ6 too. :)

I noticed that you have removed the Decals on your ST.. are you replacing them with WASP??

I went with Devin's tank side protectors, and I'm very happy with them.

His pattern is exactly what I wanted, and his price seems fair, especially given that he ships immediately and overnight.

Because of my own stupidity, I got a lot of bubbles under the left side and had trouble expelling them. I finally gave up and peeled back the protector, re-soaped, re-positioned, and it's all good now.

To make life easier on the right side, I used the denatured alcohol/water solution to prep/clean the tank only, then used only the soapy water to position/apply the protector. I guess that the alcohol/water are what "activate" the stickum. But not spraying on the alcohol/water makes it much easier to position and to get rid of any bubbles. I'll let you know if mine ever begin to peel away, but so far, so good.
