I was going to order some but the few reports of them not sticking has halted that process
Really sounds like we need a different material as these just dont work way to often. I know if I ordered them and they peeled in a week or a month I would be ticked as they are not cheap but the glue part seems to be

Same problem here in the uk, i've emailed the uk importer but sadly no reply, customer service here in the uk leaves a lot to be desired. As said in this thread these are'nt cheap.

Maybe just the angle of the pic but, ummmm, is this installed upside down??

Nope just the angle, as per techspecs site and limey's, it's only lifting on the right hand side pad as well, left has been fine. It started lifting after a week and refuses to stick back down

I believe they are mounted correct. I had to go look but as you can see from the following photos the "Techspec" is right side up so you can read it the way you (and I) have them mounted.

I got the c3 Gripsters and put them on ~4000 miles ago... No problems at all with them
Well that one is DEFINITELY mounted the wrong way :D It's turned counter-clockwise 90 degrees... and should be on the other side. But it works! And not likely to lift off as it doesn't have to follow the curve of the tank at the front.

Well they may be on wrong... But like U say they won't come off AND the best part they are right where my knees hit the tank. Isn't that what they R supposed to do?
Perhaps everyone else has them on wrong. :-/
I'm just sayin... :)

I contacted Robbie from tech spec as i was getting no joy from the uk importer regarding my problems with the HF material lifting, he sent me a snakeskin set from the us for the postage cost, $18, top service and very happy with the new ones fitted today. ::008::

When I bought mine (Snakeskin) I also dealt directly with Robbie. Top class service and a LOT cheaper than buying in the UK. No adhesive problems after 7k miles.

After my 2000 mile blast around France and Germany I've started to loose one of my custom knee grips. Must be where my knee grips and rubs at the tank. Never mind I have part of the sheet left so will have to knock up another strip. Not bad all things considered I've had it on for over a year now. Me likey TechSpec stuff. Will soon be in the market for more. ::008::

I have just realised that I have got mine mounted the wrong way too, exactly the same as Brick but they look much better that way and as he says they are exactly where my legs meet the side of the tank. Mine have been on nearly a year now and about 7000 miles and absolutely no lifting so I guess we got it right! ::012::
