Exactly, or maybe 85 at times .... plenty. Posted speed limits suck on the interstates, (I always thought Montana had the best speed limits) Take a plane if you need to be there sooner than that.

I am not as negative about OEM touring screen. For me it has worked out really well. Big reduction in buffeting and more wind protection. I am about 5'10". The smooth air flow strikes the top of my helmet and creates a really good suction of air through my helmet meaning I can ride with my visor fully closed in cold weather without fogging up. I'm pretty sure that it is about 1-1.5" or so taller than standard screen.

To answer the previous question I topped out at 203km/h with touring screen, wind deflectors and OEM panniers.
Not argueing, just look at this....both screens together.

Yeah, there must be some other dynamic at work...and you are a pretty big dude, so I'm sure that's also a factor. I know that people in the 5' 8 to 5' 10 range with normal torso lengh report a noticable reduction in buffeting when compared the stock screen. I will probably still opt for the CalSci if I decide I need another windshield, but, at present, it's not a pressing concern as the stock unit protects my 5' 8" frame pretty well.

OBTW, i had a question for you and almost forgot... When you did that video of yourself picking up the bike after laying it down in the lawn, what did you use for handholds? I well....er...had to pick mine up few days ago for the first time and ended-up levering it up with the lowside bar. Thank goodness for the built-in frame sliders!

I have never taken my bikes to the maximum speeds but the other day on one of the shortest freeways in California, the Marina or 90 freeway I had her up to 121 MPH indicated and it felt like there was more to go. I chickened out and slowed down but, wow-!!! Just saying ....
I am in love with my "Max"

That is surprising. Must all be in the lips to the side and/or screen angle. Appreciate the correction about screen height. By the way, I found the buffeting not good with the touring screen in highest position. Lowest and middle positions are good.

How sad is this. I have viewed the vids myself several times and still have no idea what I used as hand holds to pick it up. On two of the three pick ups, I had one hand on the handle bar but what the other hand was doing, I have no idea.
The only excuse I have is my age. I am currently about 2000 miles from the bike so cannot even try again.

Sorry
