We are end of August, first of September like BDR suggest.....+1
You still looking at late August?
We will probably drive in Jarbidge on the 28-29th... The best we could do is show up in Jarbridge on the 28th, camp and head North on the 29th.I'm just going to throw this out there as a starter......Aug 26 (Saturday) meet in Jarbidge?
Set aside 1 day per section, complete on/by Sept 3?
I'll likely arrive in Twin Falls a day early...probably have to do an oil change and will definitely have to throw some new rubber on.
Any input is welcome and encouraged.
That drive sucks ass even in a car. Whether using US-287, or I-20/US 84/I-27, that's a long as boring route.. . . . But up to Amarillo is the pits ! . . . .
A very kind offer and I may take you up on that. I'll be running Mitas E-07+ on rear, but my front Heidenau might still be on to cover the 1900 mile trip from here to you.I live roughly 250 miles from Jarbridge. Tires could be shipped to my house and changed. Plenty of room in my yard to set up a tent, park a trailer, grab a shower.
I'll be bringing an Insta360 and GoPro....no doubt we'll manage something....I'm no professional though.mak10 is a talented rider should do well in your group tabasco .... hope y'all can get it together . should make a great ride report .... if any of could put together a video that would be very cool .
OK, I have my route planned out between Thunder Bay and Jarbidge, with one day to spare in case I have trouble or decide to spend some extra time in Wyoming..
Likely I'll spend the night before in Twin Falls and drive to Jarbidge 1st thing in the morning.
Any idea when you guys would like to depart on the 29th? 10am?
You could always meet up in Lowman, Idaho which crosses Hwy21 usually on day 2 if you cant change your schedule. You wouldn't miss much.Just FYI .... I'll see what I can do about pushing my schedule ahead as I've based my work and vacation schedule on the 29th per previous posts.
I would suggest Sasquatch Suspensions in Boise. Jay Jobes is the owner. He's done work for me and is very knowledgable! My bike has blown fork seals since coming south on the Dalton Hwy. Cleaned everything just north of San Francisco and replaced pads. Going to blast everything tomorrow morning to get me into Idaho. So going down a BDR probably isn't wise. I was thinking of calling a place in Idaho to see if I could get them changed out. If I remember correctly you don't have to remove internals to change out seals do you? I can't remember. I have the Traxxion Dynamics suspension AK-20 kit and the stock tool won't hold the internals to tighten up the lower bolt.
